HELEN MARIE BAKER passed away at the Coaldale Care Centre on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the age of 76 years, beloved wife of Edward Baker. KAREN DENISE BOULTON, beloved wife of Mark Kellar, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, November 28, 2014 at the age of 49 years. A private family service will be held.

KAREN DOREEN (NEE ERICKSON) LEWKO
It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Karen Doreen (nee Erickson) Lewko on Saturday November 29, 2014 at the age of 64 years, after a lengthy illness. Besides her husband and best friend, Darrel, Karen is survived by daughter Candace Lewko, son Todd (Karen) Lewko, grandchildren Thomas and Aiden Lewko, and Chanteal, Brendon, and Adam Palmer; mother-in-law Jeanette Lewko, brother-in-law Allan (Kitty) Lewko, sister-in-law Colette (Larry) Jones, and numerous extended family members. Karen was predeceased by her parents John and Ada (Babs) Virginia Erickson, and sister, Barbara Jeanne. Karen was born and raised near Camrose, Alberta. She married Darrel in 1969 in Lethbridge, where they owned and operated Park-Nielsen Dry Cleaners, for 25 years. Darrel and Karen spent many happy, early years with family and friends on vacations, and in retirement, made the transition to the Castle Mountain area, where Karen spent over 20 years working at Castle Mountain Ski Resort, first starting as the Food and Beverage manager of the T-Bar Pub, and then later was Employee and Guest Services Manager. Like her father, John Erickson (VE6NB), Karen was also a Ham Radio Operator. Her call letters, VE6KDL, were well known throughout the Southern Alberta area. Karen had made a huge impact on the community of Pincher Creek. Her life was to have people happy. A public viewing took place on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Snodgrass Funeral Home (1101  Main Street, Pincher Creek, AB). A ³Celebration of Happiness² will be held at 2:00 pm at the Pincher Creek Community Hall on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Everyone is welcome. The interment will be held at Wilhelmina Lutheran Church, near Camrose, AB. Dorothy Bael, beloved wife of Cyriel Bael, passed away in Taber on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the age of 63 years after a lengthy battle with cancer. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 5:00 P.M.

She was predeceased by her youngest son Jeremy Bael in 2008 and parents William ³Bill² and Gladys ³Bunty² Malinsky. Dorothy was a very giving and loving woman. She was always willing to help her friends and family when needed. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and relatives and friends. She enjoyed camping, ice fishing and mud bogging. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
