ALYRE THERRIAULT
Alyre Therriault beloved husband of Jackie Therriault passed away on February 11, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Besides his loving wife Jackie, Alyre is survived by his children Marie (Jim) Cameron, Audrey (Robert) Jackson, Jackie (Frank) Marsh, Tim Therriault (Jan Robertson), nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A Prayer service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday February 19, 2015 at St. Michael¹s Catholic Church 958 Christie Avenue, Pincher Creek, AB. Gerardina Brobbel of Fort Macleod, beloved wife of the late Klaas Brobbel Sr. passed away on February 11, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Gerardina is survived by her children: Kees (Nel) Brobbel, Bill (Janny) Brobbel, Ali Vroegindewey, Nanja (Dirk) Struck, Koos (Gerda) Brobbel, Klaas (Sara) Brobbel, Geraldine (Henk) Vandenberg, Lodewyk (Rena) Brobbel, Esther (Ken) Smit, thirty-eight grandchildren and thirty-eight great grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Klaas, Gerardina was predeceased by her grandson-in-law Adrian Veldman (2002). She is survived by one brother and numerous relatives in The Netherlands.

Leslie Dawn (Sleightholm) Hagan of Medicine Hat Alberta, passed away on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at the age of 65 and is finally at peace and at rest in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Leslie is survived by her mother, Shirley Sleightholm, her siblings, Bill Sleightholm, Gail Nikkel and Peggy McKitrick and their spouses and extended families. She was predeceased by her father, William J. Sleightholm in 1994.
Leslie’s memory was cherished at a Graveside Service celebrated at Medicine Hat Hillside Cemetery on Monday, February 9th, 2015. Our deepest appreciation to Loni and her family and Arnold for their friendship, love and care, shown to Leslie. MARY PERKOVIC
1927 ~ 2015
Mrs. Mary Perkovic of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Joseph Perkovic and mother of the late Katherine Perkovic, passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Mary was born on February 23, 1927 in Radikovci, Croatia to Michael and Elizabeth Sisjulak. In April of 1950, she immigrated to Canada with her husband Joseph and infant daughter Katherine. They settled in the Lethbridge area and in 1955 purchased a farm north of Picture Butte. They moved to the city of Lethbridge in 1974, and Mary took a position with the Federal Government in Housekeeping. She took early retirement at the age 60 to enjoy time with her grandchildren. From simple things to like going to the playground, to family trips to Disney World, she thrived on time spent with her grandchildren. Her favorite fridge magnet from the Tyrell Museum expresses it all: “Dino-Mite Grandma”.
Mary is survived by her two daughters Julie Kraft and Mary Pederson; her son Steve Perkovic; grandchildren Jon and Kara Megella, Aaron Kraft, Laurie-Ann, Ryan and Sean Pederson; her sister Julia Romanchuk; great-grandchildren Alexandra and Devon Monroe, and great-great-grandson Cyrus Monroe; sons-in-law Steve Kraft and Bob Pederson; daughter-in-law Ute Perkovic. She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph Perkovic; her parents Michael and Elizabeth Sisjulak; her brother Stephen Sisjulak; and her daughter Katherine Megella. A Visitation will be held at 7:00 pm, on Monday, February 16, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB. PALMER
JERALD LEON PALMER passed away peacefully in Raymond on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his children: Dorothy Ann (Derek) Hoare and Jerald Whitney (Dawn) Palmer, and his wife Barbara. He was predeceased by his eternal companion Elaine. Jerald leaves a posterity of six grandchildren: Chelsee Clements, Tanner Clements, Jordyn Clements, Dustin Palmer, Brandon Palmer and Colton Palmer. Dad was born in Kanab, Utah on September 7, 1934. He served in the U.S. Army for three years before fulfilling a two year LDS mission to the Great Lakes. He was a teacher and Guidance Counsellor at the Raymond High School for 31 years. He was a multi-sport athlete, including being a golden gloves boxing champion. He was one of the founding fathers of Raymond football. He coached football, basketball, and refereed for many years and was known to many as ŒCoach¹. He served faithfully in many capacities for his church and a highlight for him was being a temple worker. Words will never express the void his passing will bring. As a family we would like to express our utmost gratitude to the Doctors and Staff at the Raymond Health Centre. Friends may meet the family on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the LDS Raymond Stake Centre, or prior to the funeral service on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, 2 North, 200 West, Raymond, with Bishop Noel Smith officiating.
