Feb. 14th, 1962 – May 10th, 2015

WARD SCOTT ALLEN, beloved spouse of Sharlene Kondas, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 10th, 2015 at the age of 53 years.

At Ward’s request no formal funeral service will be held.

DAVIDSON

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Cameron Davidson of Pincher Creek announces his passing.

Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gloria, his daughter Shantal (Aaron) and son Chad (Kathlynn), his parents Agnes and Cameron and brothers Kevin and Kim (Chris). Rick was blessed with 5 grandchildren; Tiffany, Viollette, Marley and Gage as well as many nieces, and nephews. Rick was predeceased by his granddaughter Liberty.

Rick grew up in Pincher Creek, raising pigeons, hunting, fishing, trapping and loved being outdoors. After high school he worked to become a millwright and worked with the Shell Waterton Gas Plant until he retired at 55. The greatest joys in his life were his children and grandchildren who are missing him dearly and will forever.

A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held upstairs at the Royal Canadian Legion (691 Main Street, Pincher Creek) on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

IKE THIESSEN, beloved husband of Iva Thiessen, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years.

Miro Tomasta

1932 – 2015

Miro Tomasta of Readymade passed away peacefully on May 14, 2015 at the age of 82. He was born, raised and educated in Readymade.

Miro’s occupation was farming in which his talents for repairing and remodeling equipment always seemed to suit his needs. He enjoyed sports (basketball, curling & golfing), a love for reading, had a green thumb and a soft spot for animals. He always loved the company of his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Miro was a county councilor for the county of Lethbridge from 1964-1980.

Miro is survived by his loving wife Lydia; 5 daughters Diane (Tom) Slywka, Nancy (Doug Winter), Melenie (Sid) de Graaf, Lorraine and Antonette; 4 sons Bob (Kathy) Tomasta, Ron (Marilyn) Tomasta, Rick and Gary (Lana) Tomasta; 24 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and sister Pat Cajka.

Miro was predeceased by his daughter Karen, parents Joseph and Teresa Tomasta, sister Maria (Joe) Vopicka and brother-in-law Joe Cajka.

Vigil Rights (Prayers) will be held at 7:00 pm, on Monday, May 18, 2015, at Martin Brothers Riverview Chapel, 610-4 Street South, Lethbridge.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at ST. AMBROSE CHURCH, 1513-23 Ave Coaldale, with Father Newton Rodrigues celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4K7.

LAWANA LIOBA WITZL, nee Many Bears, passed away at the Blue Sky Manor on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the age of 76 years.
