CLEMENTS
SHIRLEY FAYE CLEMENTS – Beloved Daughter, Sister, “Aunty”, “Mother to so many” and Friend passed away surrounded by her family in Taber AB on July 30, 2015. She is survived by her Mother, Shirley Clements, Sisters, Chris (Keith) Moline, Wendy (Ric) Bateman, Brothers, Bruce (Shellee), Barry (Brenda), and Bryan, along with many Nieces and Nephews whom she loved and cared for as the children she never had, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Harold Charles Clements.
Faye was born Nov 18, 1946 in Maitland N.S.W. Australia. At the age of 7 she immigrated to Canada with her family. Barnwell, AB was the place she called home and resided for most of her life. She was an active member of the community as she worked for both the Village of Barnwell and Canada Post as Postmaster. Faye was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission to Italy and served in many church callings with her favorite ones being working with the little children in the primary organization of the Church. She always had a treat for any child who came to see her in the post office and spoiled many children with her beautiful dresses that she sewed. She adored and served the little children and youth in her life – and they in turn loved her.
Friends may meet the family on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Barnwell LDS Chapel, or prior to the funeral service on Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Funeral Services will be held at the BARNWELL LDS CHAPEL on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Scott Nelson officiating. Interment will be in the Barnwell Cemetery.Her family will forever be thankful to Dr. Wade Steed and the staff at the Taber Long Term Care who cared for her so tenderly in the final months of her life. Those that took the time to visit and care for Faye over the months will be forever appreciated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Faye’s Name to the Taber Long Term Care would be gratefully accepted.

 Leonard (Mi’kssiikamm Red Crane) Crow Chief of the Blood Reserve, beloved husband of Doreen Yellow Wings, passed away on July 26. 2015 at the age of 60 years.
A family service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday August 2, 2015 at EDEN’S FUNERAL HOME, 2424 5th Ave, Fort Macleod, followed by a wake service at the OLD SAIPOYI GYM, Stand Off.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 A.M. on Monday August 3, 2015 at the OLD SAIPOYI GYM, Stand Off. Interment to follow at Crow Chief Family Plots.


DELFINO
1930 – 2015
ELPIDIO “DEL” DELFINO, JR. passed away peacefully on July 28th with his wife by his side. He is remembered for his deep love of family, sense of humor and good times that he loved to share with all. He was a caring and compassionate gentleman, always thoughtful and giving. He will be missed by all his loved ones.
Beloved husband of Nieves “Babe” Delfino, beloved father of Cindy O’Neill and her husband Dermot, cherished grandfather (Lolo) of Damien Delfino and his wife Joanne, great- grandfather of Aria Delfino, brother of Corazon Delfino Beloy and also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, who called him “Tio Dodoy”.
Born on April 14, 1930 in Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines to Elpidio Delfino, Sr. and Alejandra Garcia Delfino, Del was the second youngest son with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. His sister Cora sang on DZMB Radio Station in Manila with Nieves “Babe” Reyes. Del was Babe’s “Number 1 Fan”. He and his father sat in the front row when Cora and Babe performed. Del and Babe married. Del studied architecture and graduated in the top of his class from Mapua Institute of Technology and the University of the Philippines. Although he loved and appreciated good music, he never had a chance to take up a musical instrument but instead opted to design and create beautiful architectural structures.
In 1968, Del and Babe moved with their young daughter from the Philippines to Vancouver, BC. A year later, they moved to Yellowknife, NT where Del was the architect of the Yellowknife City Hall, École St. Joseph School and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
For the past 40 years, Del and Babe have made their home in Lethbridge, AB. There they had many projects. For a brief time, they even lived in Maui, Hawaii where they made bikinis. Del could spot the ones he made that he saw on the beach. Back in Lethbridge, Del and Babe made rosaries that they sent to Catholic missions around the world.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at ST. MARTHA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia Boulevard West, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. with Father Ino Cambaling, Celebrant.

We say goodbye to a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. ADELINE KLAUSE left this world on Thursday, July 30, 2015 to embrace the kingdom of heaven. Adeline loved many hobbies in her life, but most important was family. We mourn her loss, but will remember her many kindnesses.

 SHERWOOD, Daphne P.
February 10, 1942 – July 27, 2015
Daphne Sherwood passed away at the Claresholm General Hospital on Monday, July 27, 2015 at age 73. She leaves to mourn, her husband of 50 years, Bill Sherwood of Barons, Alberta.
Daphne was born in Croydon, England and came to Canada with her mother in 1945. Her mother was employed, as a cook, by A.P. Blixt in the Barons District. Daphne attended Barons Consolidated School and met a neighbour boy, Bill. They were married in 1965. She lived in the Barons area her entire life. Daphne was an avid sports fan and had a love for animals.
A Celebration of Daphne’s life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Claresholm Community Centre North Hall (5920-8th Street West). 1945 ~ 2015
Robert “Bob” Sheward of Lethbridge passed away on Tuesday, July 28,
2015, at the age of 70 years. His memory will be forever treasured in
the hearts of his wife, Ann; her children, Sharleen and Henry;
