BENNETT
FLOYD L BENNETT, beloved husband of Dorothy passed away at the Raymond Health Centre on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the age of 84 years.
He is the loving father of Kevin, and Karen, both of Magrath. He is also survived by grandchildren: Steffanie, Britney, Bradon, and Jessie; great grandchildren: Trayce, Madison, Marley, and Sophia. Floyd is also survived by a brother Bob (Helen) of Abbotsford, BC.
Floyd is predeceased by sons Craig, and Brian; parents Leland and Dorothy, and step-father Dave Carpenter.
Floyd spent his entire life in the Magrath area where he farmed until he retired in 1992.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Magrath Cemetery on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

Kenneth Robert Bullock, beloved husband of Jean Bullock, passed away
peacefully in Taber on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the age of 71
years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at

26, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and also at the church prior
to the funeral service on Thursday, August 27, 2015 between 1:00 P.M.

Ken leaves behind his high school sweetheart Jean, his wife of fifty
one years, as well as his children Audrey (Brian) Gavlas of Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan and their children CJ and Parker; Kendra (Richard) Merkl
of Taber and their children Mayson, Broc and Reese. He is also
survived by his mother Dolly Bullock; sisters Elaine (Doran) Wilkins
of Orem, Utah, Diane (Leo) Layton of Taber and brother Garold
(Margaret) Bullock of Taber; brothers-in-law Bill (Joan) Burge and Ken
Christensen as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son Curtis Bullock, father Albert Bullock,
brothers-in-law Delynn Hirsche and Nels Hall; sisters-in-law Judy
Christensen and Donna Hall.
Ken was born and raised on a farm and enjoyed the demands and
challenges of farm life. Upon leaving the farm, he was employed with
the Taber Irrigation District and also joined the Taber Fire
Department as a volunteer. His pride and passion for the job led him
to the position of Deputy Chief and eventually Taber’s Fire Chief
for a total of twenty one years of service. Following his retirement
from the town, he worked as a backhoe operator for a number of
excavating companies and eventually retired from Tri-Well Oilfield
Service. He continued to work seasonal for Marty Johnson hauling
potatoes and kept himself busy in the winters as the neighbourhood
“Snow Angelâ€.
In his spare time he loved stock car racing where he was a decorated
and competitive driver. This passion carried over to his leisure time,
spending hours watching racing and monster truck events. His pride and
joy was his 1994 Ford Ranger that he entered in and won many awards in
car shows all over Alberta and the US. Ken’s unique vision and
creativity inspired him to build various parade toys which he also
entered in car shows, most notably in the Taber Show and Shine that he
helped establish.
He also enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family and
always looked forward to family reunions. Lost Lemon Camp Ground was
reserved for annual family vacations. Once his girls left home,
camping excursions changed to trips, with Jean, on his Honda Goldwing
and tent trailer over the Logan’s Pass and Western Canada.
Ken will be remembered for his meticulous attention to detail,
passion for music, unique vision and creativity, and love for his
family and friends.

MARGARET IRENE (PEGGY) DOIG, beloved wife of George, in peace and dignity, returned to the arms of Jesus Friday, August 21, 2015 in Cardston, Alberta.
A life of kindness, love and faith were the framework of her 90 years. . For Peggy her deepest joy came when surround by family and friends.
True to her Irish heritage she enjoyed dancing, fun, laughter and smiles. Selfless by nature Peggy loved to give gifts which often came from her talents in knitting, crafts, shopping and chocolate making.
Peggy regretfully leaves George, her eternal husband of 71 years, sons Lister (Lorraine), Paul (Sheron), (Sharon), daughter Shelley (Hal) Winters, and sister of choice Auddie Taylor. She will be missed by her 4 children, 21 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
To all who remember her she leaves a rich legacy of, faith and devotion to those she loved. She exemplified hard work, cleanliness, poise, kindness, strength and endurance.
In paradise she joins son Ronald, Grandson Bradley Doig, her parents Lister and Ida Maley, her 5 siblings, John Taylor and many others that went before.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel, Cardston (355-3rd Street West) on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
Friends may meet the family at the Church from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the Service.

EAVES
MYRON WILLIAM EAVES, beloved husband of Janet Eaves, passed away in Lethbridge surrounded by family, on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 75 years.
He is the loving father of William Kenneth (Cherise) – grandchildren Mikka and Lincoln, Mitchell Leon, and Bryce Richard, all of Lethbridge. He is also survived by his loving wife and best friend Janet; siblings: Leisha (Keith) Gray, Brian (Sue), Judy (Tony).
He is predeceased by parents Bill and Mildred.
Myron was born on April 14, 1940 to William and Mildred Eaves at the Galt Hospital in Lethbridge. He attended grades 1-12 in Stirling. He worked for Tomorrow’s Furniture, Department of Highways, and Sunshine Seed Cleaning Plant. Moe loved sports, and excelled at basketball. He played for the Lethbridge Community College Kodiaks and captured the Western Inter-College Conference Championship. This team was inducted into the Lethbridge Sports Hall of Fame this past May.
Moe loved spending time on the golf course and casting a fishing rod into a lake. He loved playing slow pitch, baseball and fastball, hunting and church volleyball. Most of all, Moe loved his family and was an excellent husband, father, and grandfather.
Friends may meet the family on Friday, August 28 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge, or prior to the Funeral Service at the LDS – Stirling Chapel on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.

KEITH MARVIN ANDERSON of Spruce Grove, AB passed away peacefully at the U of A Hospital in Edmonton on August 22, 2015 after a brief but brave battle with Liver Disease. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Sandi (Ropchan), Son, Anthony (Samantha), and soon-to-be born grandson, Eli, sister Valerie (Duane) Charlesworth of Picture Butte, AB, brothers Roger (Jennifer) of Fort Macleod, AB & Lester (Jane) of Coleman, AB, father-in-law Bill Ropchan, sister-in-law Brenda Ciccone (Bill) and numerous nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his Mother Sadie and Father Marvin, sister Lorraine, brother Lorne and mother-in-law Isabelle.

Mr. Willem (Wilf) Tymensen of Lethbridge, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the age of 69 years.
Willem is survived by his dear friend Monica Gonzy of Stirling, AB; son Jerald of Campbellford, ON; brother Bill (Myrna) Tymensen of Lethbridge, AB as well as numerous siblings and extended family members in Holland. Besides his loving parents Roel & Geurdjes Tymensen, Willem was predeceased by his brother John (June) Tymensen of Coaldale, several siblings in Holland, and former spouse Sharron Tymensen. He will also be dearly missed by his canine companion Michelle (“My Belleâ€).

EVELYN “JULIANNA” WEASEL MOCCASIN (DAY CHIEF) Yellow Owl Woman passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the age of 62 years.
Julianna leaves to mourn her children, Susan (Lynn) Weasel Moccasin, Stacey (Lyle) Toews, Vicki (Randolph), Trudy (Mark), Tyler (Candace), Ryan (Nicole), Eric (Cynthia), and adopted children, Margaret Day Chief, Emily Delaney, Tammy (Rudy) Weasel Moccasin and Godfrey Shouting. Julianna was blessed with 12 granddaughters, 9 grandsons and 6 great- grandchildren, Godchildren, Wylie Weasel Moccasin and Donovan Blood. She was predeceased by her husband, Jarvie Day Chief; special daughter, Jolene Shouting; and her granddaughter, Amanda Joy Weasel Moccasin.
Julianna was born and raised on the Blood Indian Reserve. She received her education at the St. Paul’s Anglican Residential School. She met her husband, Jarvie Day Chief in 1970 and raised their family in the Old Agency community. Julianna was employed with Kainai Arts & Crafts, Blood Tribe Recreation & Parks as the Old Agency Program Coordinator before she started her small business. Julianna’s devotion and love of children was shown by opening her home to children in need of a loving home.
Julianna took the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and was baptised in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost on June 12, 1988 according to John Chapter 3 and Mathew 24:19. Julianna’s dedication and devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ was epitomized by the way she led her life and the teachings she has left her children. We are secure in our faith that we will see our mother again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Julianna was the owner and operator of Yellow Owl Gifts and was in operation for over 20 years. She learned her beading skills from her mother, Ada Weasel Moccasin in the 1960’s and perfection from her father, Dan Weasel Moccasin Sr. Julianna started her small business at Chief Shot Both Sides mall in the late 1980s with the support of her family. She attended Trade Shows, local aboriginal celebrations and consigned her beadwork to local gift shops. Her business name was inspired by her Blackfoot name Yellow Owl Woman, which was given to her by late grandpa Emil Wings Sr. Julianna received the Business of the Year Award in 2005 by the Kainai Chamber of Commerce and most recent 2014 Certificate of Recognition Award by the First Nation Entrepreneurial Symposium. The family would like to take this time to thank family, friends, and the community for their support of the Yellow Owl Gift Shop throughout the years.
Julianna is survived by her siblings, Stewart (Marion) Weasel Moccasin, Cordell (Rosaline) Weasel Moccasin, Andrew Weasel Moccasin, Alva (Patrick) Weasel Moccasin, and Greta (Raymond) Many Bears; and the Day Chief Family, Winston (Martha) June, Rita (Keith) Red Crow, Wilton (Trina), Harriet, Chester (Bonnie), Laverne (Rod) First Rider, Bruce (Carla), Perry, Patsy, Delia (John) Chief Moon; Aunts, Rosemarie Tail Feathers, Theresa Plume, Mary Twigg; Uncles, Donald Big Swallow and Andrew Twigg.
Julianna was predeceased by her parents, Dan and Ada Weasel Moccasin; siblings, Eleanor Delaney, Martina Blood, Daniel Weasel Moccasin, and Joanne Cross Child.
The family would like to thank Dr. Shukoor, Lethbridge Regional Hospital Palliative Care Team, St. Mikes Palliative Care nurses for the kindness and compassion they showed our mother–you truly have Hearts of Gold. To our family members that provided support to mom and her children from the beginning of mom’s battle with cancer, we are forever thankful. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
