ANDERSON
EVA DAHL (SMITH) ANDERSON passed away at the Good Samaritan’s Society in Raymond on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the age of 79 years.
She is the loving mother of: Roger (Lori) Smith, Greg Smith, Gerald Smith, all of Seattle, Washington, and Brian (Kelly) Smith of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and her siblings: Reed Dahl, Eileen Anderson, Marvin Dahl, Linda Adams, and Lois Lybbert.
Eva is predeceased by Clifford and Ened Dahl, Wayne Dahl, Louise Tonge, Garth Dahl, and her two previous husbands: Frederick Smith and Don Anderson.
Eva was born December 17, 1935 in Raymond, AB to Ened and Clifford Dahl in their farm home. She graduated from Raymond High School then moved to California to work as a comptometer operator for Standard Oil. She moved back to Raymond and married Frederick Smith. They opened the first pizza restaurant in Alberta, which was in Lethbridge. They had four boys within 4 1/2 years. She became a busy stay at home mom! She loved recipes, cooking, and gardening. After living on Vancouver Island, BC for 9 years, Eva and the boys moved back to Raymond.
Later she was married to Don Anderson for 10 years and ran a Bed & Breakfast in Mountain View, AB. After leaving Don, Eva moved back to Raymond where she lived the rest of her life. She suffered with Parkinsons disease for many years. She will be greatly missed by her boys, their wives, and her grandchildren.
Friends may meet the family at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm and again Saturday morning from 10:00 – 10:45 am at the church.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, 2 North, 200 West, Raymond, on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 am, with Bishop Craig Palmer officiating.
Interment to follow in Temple Hill Cemetery.

Calahan Henry Bruder
Calahan (Henry) Bruder, passed away tragically on September 6, 2015, near Beaver Mines, AB.
Calahan was born in Pincher Creek, AB on March 1, 1996. He lived and went to school in Pincher Creek, AB.
Calahan was the happiest when he was working with his Dad, Lorne, on the rigs. Nothing in life made him more proud. He was most comfortable being with friends and family sharing, throughout his years, his love of the mountains.
Calahan is survived by his loving parents, Sue and Lorne Bruder, sister Sage (Kevin Williamson), brothers Freddie Bruder, and Whyat Bruder, all of Pincher Creek, AB. Aunts Jennie (Don) Marsden, of Fort MacLeod, and Sandy Young of Pincher Creek. His Grandmother, Freda Bruder of Pincher Creek, AB. Calahan was predeceased by his Aunt, Lillian Turnbull.

Husband to Nicole Lauren, Father of (Rochelle, Jonathan, Emmanuel), Son of Adam & Dorothy (Koenig), Brother to Ron (Marylyn), Allan (Betty) (Predeceased: Dale), Numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
Elmer worked in senior finance for horse racing in Alberta for over 40 years; Stampede Park Race Office (Book Keeper), Alberta Race Corp (Controller), Rocky Mountain Turf Club (CFO 1998).
Elmer retired to Haiti 2007 where he and his wife worked side by side building their home. The two of them opened a school out of their home to educate the children of their community. They were also active in the placement of children in foster care or reuniting the children with their families after the devastation in Haiti 2010
At the time of his passing, Elmer had by his side his loving wife and soul mate Nicole.

Beth was always entertaining (dinner for 30 in 30 minutes), or ready to head off on a trip with Bob. She has now joined him for the last leg of their journey – a well-deserved rest. Mom and Dad didn’t miss a birthday or an anniversary together, having celebrated their 94th birthdays and their 74th anniversary last fall.
Beth Hummel, wife of the late Robert Hummel, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Milk River Long Term Care.
She will be missed by 9 living children, 30 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Martin and Edna Madge, her grandson, Darren Bianchi, her son, Mark, her husband, Robert, her siblings and their spouses; Frank (Verna) Madge, Helen (Henry) Salisbury, Grace (George) Snow and her sister-in-law, Nola Madge. Bob’s parents, Frank and Mabelle Hummel, his siblings and their spouses; Merle (Gen) Hummel, Daisy (Clarence) Dittbenner, Ruth Doty (Scotty Lees) and (Archie Doty), Edith Loft (Albert Kihn) and (Ed Loft), a brother- in-law, Bob Fleming and an infant sister, Alice May Hummel, also predeceased her.
Beth was always ready and willing to share with others – a smile, a song, a poem, a story, a meal, a bed and a listening ear. She was happiest when surrounded by family, friends and strangers who soon became friends. There was always room for one more…. and we have been blessed and privileged to have been amongst the vast number of people whose lives she touched.
The family is so grateful for the personal, loving care received from the doctors, nurses and staff in Milk River.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul, who passed away peacefully in Terrace B.C at the age of 74 with family & close friends at his side,
hearing the song, Amazing Grace, sung just before he transitioned to paradise, to be with Jesus, Paul accepted Jesus as his lord and Savior in the late 80’s, and Strongly believed in prayer.
Paul is pre-deceased by his Grandson Jordan Peters and Parents Dorothy & Henry Peters. Paul is survived by Anne Peters, Mother of their 3 children, Son, Tony Peters (Jo-Ann), 2 Daughters, Jackie Tyslau & Anita Ketsa (Rick), 6 Grandchildren, Paige, Kye & Ria Jarvie, Chelsea Peters, Mathew & Daniel Ketsa & 4 Great Grandchildren, Kourbyne & Caydence Jarvie & London and Nevaeh White. Paul is also survived by his older Brother Bob Peters (Sylvia) and Family.
A special mention to Margaret Hill and her family who shared the past 9 years of Paul’s life as very close friends.
