DARREL BROWN
(1929-2015)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darrel Cameron Brown of Pincher Creek, Alberta who succumbed to illness on October 22, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Hard working hands shall toil no more.
Darrel was born on March 31, 1929 in Lethbridge, Alberta to proud parents, George & Florence Brown. He was raised to be meticulous and inquisitive with a devoted work ethic. His skill at autobody repair was second to none and he firmly stood for what he believed to be just. He was further blessed with a loving wife and family whom he cherished.
Darrel found pleasure in the solitude of the outdoors camping by the fire, mountain biking the trails and laughing and toasting the good health of his friends. He loved to debate politics and show his collection of antique cars, travel to Montana with his lovely wife, Carol, and celebrate those precious moments in life so many of us take for granted. He lived well knowing trials and triumphs but most of all, he dearly touched our hearts as to leave a loving and cherished memory.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Marie Brown of Pincher Creek; his children, Pam (Bryan Coyle) Brown of Lethbridge, Judy (Duane) Guzzi of Lethbridge and Cameron (Bruce) Brown of Nanaimo; his step-son, Kevin Clinton of Pincher Creek; his grandchildren, Marissa and Nikolaos; his brother, Glenn (Sue) Brown of Washington DC; numerous nieces and nephews as well as his extended family and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Florence Brown; his son, Dean Brown; his siblings, Gordon, Winston, J.R., and Rae Issac; and his faithful canine companion, Mandy.
With respect for Darrels wishes, no funeral services will be held. Donations in memory may be directed towards the Pincher Creek S.P.C.A. or Humane Society. Condolences may be registered at http://www.fantinsfuneralchapel.ca.

Chris also leaves to mourn his passing his parents: Ron & Theresa Healy, Auntie Mom: Veronica Eagle Bear, Grandmother: Clara (Francis) Russell, his siblings: Dagmar, Shawna, RJ (Raven) Healy. He was such a loving and devout father to Trey, Kane and Hana, always providing for their every need and was their biggest and proudest fan. He will forever be remembered for his kind loving ways. His contagious smile and his never ending love to tease. Chris was a gentlemen, a man with a big heart, humble and compassionate, a legacy for his children to follow. Thus the reason he made many friends wherever he went and they always became family. There are many stories one can share of Chris that more often than not end in humour. We have only been so blessed to have shared a lifetime with Chris and life as we knew it will now never be the same without him. Currently Chris was employed with Charlton & Hill Roofing, in his second year of apprenticeship, and had formed special friendships with his co-workers whom will miss him deeply. Prior to his current employment Chris was a professional truck driver 10 years in the Calgary and area.

Marian Osko
1922 – 2015
Marian Osko of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Lucyna Osko passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on 22 October 2015, one month after his 93rd birthday.
Marian was born in Podoblocie, Poland, the fourth of six children of his parents, Jozef and Katarzyna. Marian grew up helping his mother with her market garden business, in the absence of his father who had died in an accident when Marian was eight. The Nazis arrested Marian in occupied Poland in 1941 for refusing conscription into service of the German army. He was imprisoned in a number of concentration camps including Auschwitz and Dachau. After WWII, he found himself in a refugee camp in Germany, where he met his beloved wife Lucyna. They were married in 1946 and were blessed with their first son, Kazimierz, in 1947. The small family landed in the Turin area of southern Alberta in 1949 on a contract to provide sugar beet farm labour. Marian worked for a number of farmers in the Turin, Iron Springs, and Picture Butte areas until 1956, when he was able to buy his own farm in partnership with another family near Picture Butte. Marian loved farming, but had to retire due to health reasons in the mid-1970s. He remained on the farm until 2000, when he and Lucyna moved to a newly constructed home in Lethbridge. Never afraid of hard work, he provided well for his family and could be relied upon to help any friend, relative or neighbour in need. Marian was a man of deep faith, trusting in our Lord through all trials until the end. He will be sorrowfully missed.
Marian is survived by his loving wife Lucyna, daughter Julia Palech (Don), son Terry Osko (Glennys), grandchildren Sherry Dieser (Lloyd), Brandy Osko, Alexandra Faucher (Bryan), Christina Palech, Erica Osko, Sarah Osko, and great granddaughter Grayson Dieser, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
