Wayne Currie 1927 – 2015

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, B. Wayne Currie passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the age of 88 years.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Brian Magee officiating.

GEORGE STANLEY DOIG, was welcomed by his beloved wife Peggy, as he returned to the arms of Jesus Sunday, November 22, 2015 in Cardston, Alberta.

Friends meet the family at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME in Cardston on Sunday, November 29, 2015 from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Funeral and Interment Services will be held in Calgary November 30, 2015.

DUHAMEL

LYNDEN MAURICE DUHAMEL, passed away after a lengthy illness at home in Travers on November 20th, 2015 at the age of 78 years.

He is survived by one sister, Avis (Claude) Buchanan of Grovedale, AB., three nephews (special nephew Kelly Buchanan), one niece, numerous great-nephews and nieces and great-great-nephews and nieces. Lynden is also survived by his special cousins Jim, Ivy and Twila. He was predeceased by his mother Annie in 1940 and his father Maurice in 1971.

Lynden was born October 26th, 1937 in Calgary, Alberta. He was raised and educated in Travers and Brooks. Lynden began a career as a surveyor for BRD (Bow River Development) and then B.C. Hydro. He was affectionately called “Smiley”. Lynden was very mechanically inclined and could fix anything. He loved everyone, especially children. Lynden was well known at the Enchant Hutterite Colony, helping out by teaching mechanics and solving any problem they had. Lynden will be sadly missed by his family, friends and many at Bully’s.

A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date.

Robert Firth

1955 – 2015

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Barry Firth on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 60 years.

Bob leaves behind to mourn, Connie his wife of 30 years; his loving children Luke (Shelby) and Lee of Coalhurst; brothers Ken (Pat) Firth of Lethbridge, Frank Firth of Lethbridge, Stewart (Lynn) of Lethbridge; sisters Maxine Firth of Lethbridge; step brother Don (Carol) Firth of Lantzville, BC and numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Bob was predeceased by his parents; sister Penny Ducharme; brother Kelly Firth; aunt Ilean and uncle Jack Sumner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 St. S. Lethbridge, AB. T1J 4P3.

KOTTAS

November 24, 1914 to November 23, 2015

JESSIE KOTTAS, beloved wife of the late Frederick Kottas, passed away peacefully in Raymond on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the age of 100 years.

She is survived by two daughters: Shirlene (Bill) Graff, and Shauna (Robert) Keeler. She leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and countless others that loved and cared for her.

She is predeceased by a daughter Pam, and a granddaughter Traci Sue.

Friends may meet the family on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. ONLY at the LDS – Raymond Stake Centre.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, 2 North – 200 West, Raymond. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the LDS Missionary Fund or to the LDS Humanitarian Fund.

Arthur Luck

1934 – 2015

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Arthur Luck, beloved husband of Martha Luck, on Monday, November 23, 2015 after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Besides his loving wife Martha, Arthur is survived by his three girls and their families; daughter Marlies (Kevin), their children Kahla (Owen), Kohen, Melina (Leighton), daughter Monica (Luigi), her children Braden, Tanner, and daughter Elaine (Clayton) and her children Jaden and Kiara, as well as his brother Wiegand and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and their families.

Arthur was predeceased by his parents Adelgunde and Robert as well as his sister Eugeni all from Germany.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4th Street South, Lethbridge, with Pastor Folker Stanke officiating.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation in Arthur’s name to the Alzheimer Society Lethbridge Chapter, #402 – 740 – 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 0N9.
