From there he began seismic work with Shell Canada and this led to his being employed by Shell Canada at the Waterton Gas Plant where he remained for 25 years. One of his favourite jobs was with Chinook Construction. He truly loved trucking and was very proud of his Class I License which was still in effect at the time of his passing.
It was when he moved to Pincher Creek that he met the love of his life, Sharron Stuckey, and they were married on June 30, 1964. They reside in Pincher Creek where they raised their six children.

You could always find Ted at the kitchen table in the morning doing a crossword puzzle and enjoying his coffee.
