DENNY DENNIS, beloved husband of the late June Dennis, of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the age of 69 years.

Vanderknijff – Grisnich – Hus

With deep sorrow we announce that Jacoba (Cobie) Vanderknijff, beloved wife of the late Pieter Vanderknijff, passed away peacefully at Bethesda Care Home, surrounded by her children, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at the age of 88 years old.
Born on December 31, 1926 in The Hague, the Netherlands, the late Mrs. Vanderknijff immigrated to Canada in 1954 to work as a nurse. It was here that she met her first husband Gerrit (George) Grisnich and they were married on March 8, 1956. They were blessed with 6 children: Jacky (deceased), Ray (Lisa) Grisnich, Peter (Ellen) Grisnich, William (Angela) Grisnich, Gerda (Wijnand) Van Giessen and Helen (Gerrit) Klok. After the death of her first husband in 1985, Cobie married Pieter Vanderknijff on April 8, 1998 and became a stepmother to Robert, Joyce and Jennifer.
Besides her children, Cobie is survived by 38 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; her brother Ment Hus; her sisters Lenie Bogert and Nellie (Maarten) Noorduin; her sisters-in-law Grietje Vanderveen, Marrie Van Zweden, Johanna Vossebelt, Grada Leeuwenburgh, Ann (John) Vandenbrink, Alice Grisnich, Ank Grisnich, Tine Grisnich and Gerie Grisnich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As well as being predeceased by both her husbands and her daughter Jacky, Cobie was also pre-deceased by two grandsons, Jeremy Grisnich and Joel Grisnich and a great- granddaughter Abigail Vandenberg; her parents Pieter and Jacoba Hus; her parents-in-law Reyer and Gerarda Grisnich; her sisters Alida Boone and Geertje De Jong; her brothers-in-law Kees Boone, Piet De Jong and Jacob Bogert; and her sister-in-law Riet Hus. On the Grisnich side of the family, she was pre- deceased by her brothers-in-law Wim Grisnich, infant Gerrit Grisnich, Kees Barendregt, Henk VanderVeen, Joe Van Zweden, Willem Vossebelt, Ray Grisnich, John Grisnich, Theo Leeuwenburgh, Gilbert Grisnich and Neil Grisnich; and her sister-in-law Ali Barendregt.
Opportunity for condolences will be held from 7:30pm – 9:00pm, on Friday, January 1, 2016 in the meeting room of the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF LETHBRIDGE, Hwy 3, RR8-28-11, Lethbridge, AB.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at the NETHERLANDS REFORMED CONGREGATION OF LETHBRIDGE, with Rev. A. A. Brugge officiating. Interment to follow in Archmount Cemetery.

MORLAND
SHARON MORLAND, of Lethbridge, passed away on December 27, 2015 at the age of 51 years.
Sharon is survived by her two loving children Ben (Farren) and Cassidy Morland, her parents Ben and Evelyn Herter, sisters, Colleen (Joe) Knorr, Karen (Barry) Trites, brothers, Gerald and David Herter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was loved by more people than she will ever know and will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her.

James “Jim†Osachoff Jr. of Lethbridge, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on December 25, 2015 at the age of 60 years.
He is survived by his son James; three sisters Vi Osachoff of Lethbridge, Gwen McCabe of Pincher Creek, and Helen (Art) Bailey of Sherwood Park, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
James was predeceased by his parents Laura and James Osachoff Sr. and sister Lucy GrandLouis.

WALLS, SHIRLEY
1938 – 2015
Mrs. Shirley Joan Walls of Red Deer passed away, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, at the Red Deer Hospice on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Shirley was born on September 28, 1938 at Granby, Quebec to Hugh and Violet Collins. After numerous stops across the country due to her father’s work with the Military, they finally ended up in Edmonton when he retired. Shirley met the love of her life, Donald Walls, and they were married for over fifty-eight years before her passing. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Don; her children, Neil (Kim) Walls, Cheryl Walls all of Red Deer, Scott (Patricia) Walls of Lethbridge, Alberta; her dear seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren which brought her such joy. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Kathryn Cameron of Stellarton, Nova Scotia as well as her many friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Violet Collins in 1982, and her father, Hugh Collins in 2002.
