It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andre Joseph Labbe.
Andre’s tough, courageous battle with esophageal cancer ended the night of Jan. 1, 2016, while he was surrounded by family, at the Pincher Creek Hospital at the age of 59 years old.
He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer on February 4, 2015 and was fighting a hard battle all the way to the end.
Born on Aug. 15, 1956 in Sainte-Praxede, Quebec, Andre moved to the Cowley, Alberta area in 1972 where he met his beloved wife Nancy Labbe and they were married July 19, 1986.
They graced the world with three beautiful children: Scott, Christopher and Stephanie. Their children have all married and have thus far graced Andre and Nancy with two beautiful grandchildren, with one grandchild on the way.
Scott married Candace in September 2013 and they have two children, Jared and Maxie-Rae. Christopher married Zabrina in August 2014 and they’re expecting their first child in March 2016. Stephanie married Shaun in October 2015.
Along with his children and wife, Andre is survived by his three sisters; Carmen (Dino), Helene (Irenee) and Sylvie (Daniel); his mom Rejeanne; his mother-in-law Shirley, and father-in-law George. He’s also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.
Andre is pre-deceased by his dad Albert.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 at the Snodgrass Funeral Home (1101 Main Street, Pincher Creek, Alberta) with Doug Rawling officiating.

NALDER
WILLIAM (BILL) LOVE NALDER passed away quietly on Monday, January 11, 2016.
Bill was born December 18, 1919 in Raymond, Alberta- the town he lived in his entire life and loved dearly.
He is survived by his three children: John (Jack), Jeanne McInelly, Billy and too numerous to count grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents Leland and Honnie Nalder, and his wife Marva.
Bill was educated in Raymond, he attended BYU as well as the University of Alberta where he received his Degree. He served his Country proudly during World War II, was an Educator for the Warner School District in Raymond where he taught 4th grade throughout most of his career. Bill was a sports enthusiast – a staunch and proud supporter of the Raymond Comets, a horse enthusiast and a champion Calf Roper.
Bill was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – was a missionary, seminary teacher and held numerous church jobs and positions throughout his life. He loved dancing, theatre and was the Master of Ceremonies of choice for many, many years for numerous functions and events throughout Southern Alberta.
Friends may meet with the family on Friday night, January 15, 2016 at 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS – Raymond Stake Center, or prior to the funeral service on Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTER, 2 N, 200 W, Raymond, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2016. Following the Funeral Service, an Interment Service will take place at the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

ELAINE NORTH PEIGAN, beloved wife of the late Steve Greenstien, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the age of 61 years.
Elaine is survived by her mother, Julianna North Peigan, sons, Keith “Little†North Peigan, Jason North Peigan, daughter Ashley (Aaron) North Peigan grandsons Bryson North Peigan, and Lashon North Peigan, brother Glenn (Darcia) North Peigan, sister Miriam North Peigan. She is also survived by her special friends who are more like family, Darryl M. and Edward (Heather) Gatzky. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her North Peigan Family.

WALTON
NAIDA RUBY HARDING WALTON, passed away on January 9, 2016 on her 92 birthday. She was born January 9,1924 in Taber Alberta to Earl Nobel Harding and Ruby Rice Lyons. She was married to her sweetheart Leslie Kenneth Walton in the Cardston Temple on September 10,1947. Ken passed away November 18, 2014. Naida is survived by her 5 children, David (Mary) Walton, Janet (Terry) Wolsey, Bryce (Sandra) Walton, Jim (LeAnn) Walton, and Dianne (Jeff) Taylor. She is also survived by her 32 grandchildren and her 46 great grandchildren. Three of her siblings also survive her, Fay Gibson, Lenord (Alice) Harding, and Don Harding.
Raised in Taber, Alberta, Naida spent most of her married life in Calgary. She had many talents including singing, acting, painting and quilting. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and over the years she served in many callings including Stake Relief Society President, Ward Choir Leader, and Temple Ordinance Worker. She and Ken served missions in India, and Washington D.C.
Naida had a quick wit and a great sense of humor and always found time to help others. She is loved and will not be forgotten.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Temple Street Chapel, 355-3rd Street West, Cardston, AB, Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service. WOELCKE, GERTRAUT
Gertraut Woelcke, our much loved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away at the age of 91 on January 10, 2016.
Gertraut’s legacy was having lived a life of compassion, tolerance, faith and love. Gertraut is survived by her three children, Magdalene, Rita (Bill), Reynold (Carla) and her four grandchildren Evan (Stephanie), Garrett, Caleb and Andrew and a great granddaughter, Margo, her nephews and nieces and friends.
Gertraut was predeceased by her husband Georg, her son Andrew and her sister Anneliese.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2:00 pm, January 16, 2016 at Coaldale Mennonite Church, 2316 – 17 Street Coaldale, AB.
