WESLEY CLAIR ANDREWS, spouse of Evelyn Ruby Andrews, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 at the age of 92 years.

1936 – 2016
Henry Hagen of Enchant, beloved father of Cindy and Leslie, grandfather of Carlene and brother of Marvin died peacefully on March 21, 2016 following a lengthy illness at the age of 79 years. Henry was predeceased by his father Carl (1964), his mother Annie (1970), his brothers Edward (1989), Allen (1991) and Robert (1992), his infant daughter Theresa (1965).
Henry grew up in the Sundial community and he attended Sundial school. He farmed northwest of Enchant for 25 years and ran the Enchant garage for 10 years. He then worked at the Enchant golf club and community park until his retirement in 2011.
Henry was an active community volunteer and he was a member of several local organizations including the Enchant Lions Club, Enchant volunteer fire department, the Enchant Golf Club and he coached a number of minor and senior hockey teams.
Henry enjoyed hockey, golf, curling, volunteering, camping and the great outdoors. Henry was the ultimate handyman warrior and he could fix or build anything that he set his mind to and his skills were always in demand.
Henry loved spending time with his many friends and family members and he had a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh. He had a big heart and a generous spirit and he took great interest in the lives of those around him.
Henry was a devoted father, brother and grandfather who cared deeply about his family and friends and he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Celebration for Henry will be announced at a later date.

KURUTZ
ANGELINE MARTHA KURUTZ, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the age of 67 years.
Angie was born in Lethbridge and grew up on her parent’s farm in the Eight Mile Lake district. She attended school at Sunnyside, R.I. Baker, Kate Andrews High and Henderson Business College. She worked for many years as a paralegal for lawyers in both Lethbridge and Calgary. She was an avid reader, movie enthusiast and gourmet cook. Angie will be sadly missed by her surviving brother John (Mable) Kurutz and sister Marjorie Ferguson, nieces Loretta (Lawrence) Craddock and Joanne (Brian) Baillie and nephew John Ferguson. She is predeceased by her parents Martha and John Kurutz, brother-in-law Richard Ferguson, and niece-in-law Lesley Ferguson.
Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.

Violet “Vi†Mueller
1922 – 2016
Vi Mueller of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Henry Mueller, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the age of 93. Vi was born September 24, 1922 in Groton, Alberta; daughter of Orley and Edith Iredale. Vi married Henry Mueller in 1938 and they had two sons Doug and Floyd. Vi and Henry lived in Nemiskam, Alberta from 1947 to 1968 and then lived in Foremost, Alberta from 1968 to 1984. Vi worked as a night telephone operator for AGT and then later at Garnet’s Grocery store. She was a member of the Royal Purple Lodge and really enjoyed being with the ladies. Grandma was a fabulous cook and always shared her homemade mustard with her friends. Grandma moved to Lethbridge in 1984 and has resided at the Good Samaritan West Highland Care Centre for the past six years where she received excellent care.
Vi will be lovingly remembered by her sons Doug (Elaine) and Floyd (Carol); grandchildren Melody (George) Kirkham, Janice Herbst, Kirt (Maxine) Mueller, Warren (Paula) Mueller, Russell (Teresa) Mueller and Dyan Wingo; great-grandchildren Evan, Jordan (Jessica), Danielle, Pam, Shelby, Brett and Stephanie and her great-great-granddaughter Halie.
Vi was predeceased by her husband Henry; granddaughter Laurie Mueller and her sisters Shurli and Myrtle.

KATHLEEN ROSE RIOUX, beloved wife of the late Terry Rioux, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Michael’s at the age of 82 years.
She is survived by four daughters: Darlene Wigley, Diane Rioux, Glenda Carley, Rachelle Rioux, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Roseanna Sturm.
She spent her time enjoying activities in her home at St. Michael’s.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the MIZ CITY CHURCH, 502-13 Street North, Lethbridge, Alberta.
