Mrs. Iris Aspeslet of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Anton “Tony†Aspeslet, passed away at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the age of 92 years.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 25, 2016 at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 – 11th Street South, Lethbridge, Canon James Robinson officiating.

1918 – 2016
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Sarah (Peters) Braun, passed away in Taber on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 97 years.

Sarah is survived by her five loving daughters Lillian (Otto) Pakarno of Lethbridge and their children Laurel Pakarno, Barb (Dave) Howe and Tammy (Mike) Caswell; Noreen (Irvin) Tobler of Calgary and their children Roxanne (Scott) Dinwoodie and Sheryl Tobler; Carol (Ted) Jacob of Chestermere and their daughter Kristie (Stephan) Rota; Dorothy (Glenn) Grassl of Calgary and their children Tara (Dave) Boyer, Erin (Sheldon) Weigel, Rhonda Grassl, Janine (Grant) Giliot, Jonathan (Charlene) Grassl and Skyler (Stephanie) Grassl; Patti (Tim) Fletcher of Taber and their children Cody (Sarah), Kaylyn (Mack) Stang and Dylan (Lauren). She also leaves to mourn her passing her grandchildren Dax Peters, Sarah Peters, Sean Peters, Nina Peters and Kim Peters; thirty three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, sister Kaye Funk as well many nieces and nephews.Â
She was predeceased by her husband and father of her children Cornelius Peters, her second and third husbands Peter Loewen and Aaron Braun, sons Gary and Norman Peters and grandson Kevin Jacob.Â

Jack Irvine
1935 – 2016
Service note: celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 28 and not Thursday as was previously published.
Mr. Jack Irvine of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Peggy Irvine, passed away at the Good Samaritans on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age of 80 years.
Jack was born on August 18, 1935 in Lethbridge, AB. He was raised in Lethbridge and attended school at LCI. Jack eventually went on to work for his father at Miller and Irvine Coal, Sand & Gravel. Jack also took positions with the County of Lethbridge and Town of Picture Butte. He was married to Margaret “Peggy†Palmer on November 27, 1965.
Jack loved his sports. He was a member of many hockey, curling and golf leagues, and developed many friendships along the way.
Jack was predeceased by his parents John and Ileane Irvine, and brother-in-law Dick Wallace.
He is survived by his sisters Darlene Wallace, Sharon (Lin) Black, Micky (Henry) Gerstenbuler; his son Brent (Brenda) Irvine and their daughters Vanessa & Morgan; daughter Brenda (Michael) Criss and their children Kelsey, Jordan, Connor and Keelyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the ELKS HALL in Picture Butte. Please dress casual as Jack would have wanted it that way.

KITT
MITCHELL ERIC KITT of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the age of 55 years.
Mitch is survived by his mother Mary Joss, children: Michelle (Greg) Erickson, Kevin (Teri) Kitt, Trevor (Charlene) Kitt and Nikki (George) Kitt; his siblings; Raymond (Cheryl) Kitt, Niels (Dorothy) Kitt and Lorraine (Perry) Armstrong of Sudbury, Ontario, Mitch also has 9 grandchildren.
Mitch was predeceased by his father Paul Kitt, brother Darren Kitt and his step father Tom Joss as well as a common-law spouse Brenda Lawrence.
Mitch was a big guy with a huge personality and loved by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Reception will be held at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
O’CONNOR “DAY” (Roslyn Janet)

– April 18th, 2016
After a lengthy illness, “Day†passed away suddenly and peacefully in her sleep.
She was the loving daughter of both the late Emmett John O’Connor and Margaret Agnes (Hartigan).
She is survived by her sister Kerry (Rosaire), along with many nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert “Bobbyâ€, sister Margaret Ann, brother-in-law Jack, sister Dorine and brother Dana.
Day was one of the kindest, most generous, funniest and loving people you could ever meet and was a huge and integral part of her local community. People all over were drawn to her infectious personality, and those who had the privilege to know her were blessed. She will forever be engraved in our memories and in our hearts.
A special word of thanks goes to all who cared for her during her recent illness, friends, home care and her physicians. You all
know who you are.
A celebration of Day’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 28th, 2016 at Chapter House, corner 17th A street and 10th Avenue south.
