AUDENAERT

BETTY VELMA AUDENAERT (Still), beloved wife of the late Rene Emil Audenaert, passed away in Raymond on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Betty was born April 3, 1932 in Raymond, Alberta. She attended school in Raymond. She had a passion for farming and gardening. Betty was married to Rene for 60 years. She had a strong passion for grandchildren as well as her great grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She is survived by two daughters: Shirley (Martin) DeHeer, Pat Lucas (Allan Taylor), 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren, and siblings: Bert, Bob (Phyllis), and Doris. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Rene, parents Annie and Herbert J. Still, sons Robert and Alan, son-in-law William, granddaughter Amber, siblings: Rosella, Norma, Richard and 2 babies at birth; sisters-in-law: Marie, Carol, Arlene. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TAYLOR STREET CHAPEL, 221 North 400 West, Raymond, with Bishop Lanny Howard officiating. Friends may meet the family at the church prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow at Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.

Matthew Eppert

1998 – 2017

Matthew Thomas Eppert of Lethbridge, beloved son of Sacha and Jaime Eppert, loving brother to Josef and Lukas Eppert, passed away peacefully at the Rotary Flames House in Calgary after a lengthy illness on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the age of 18 years. Matthew was transferred to Rotary Flames Home to comfortably live the remainder of his days surrounded by family and amazing care staff on February 3, 2017, after receiving a year of exceptional care at the Calgary Children’s Hospital.

Besides his loving girlfriend Brittany Block, Matt is survived by his Opa Hans-Josef Eppert; grandparents Peter and Beverly Smith as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.

Matt was predeceased by his Oma Katharina Eppert and most recently Auntie Donna Drayson.

A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta, with Pastor Rodger Halvorsen, officiating.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made at the Celebration of Life to Matthew’s parents to create a foundation for Matt’s type of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma, a childhood cancer.
