1930 – 2017
Mr. Stewart “Bud” Shortt of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Betty Shortt passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care at the age of 86 years. A Celebration of Bud’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 6, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street South, Lethbridge. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints
Gone to be with His Lord on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, LOUIS GREIDANUS, at the age of 89 years.
Louis is lovingly remembered by his five children: Ken (Verna) Greidanus, Margriet (Ken) Edwards, Gerrit Greidanus, Joanne (Lawrence) Brooks and Doug (Sonya – Deceased) Greidanus; 12 grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Van’t Land, Erin (Jonathan) Norton, Bethany (Jim) Vreugdenhil, Krista Greidanus, Heather (Scott) Osadchuk, Christina Brooks, Alex Brooks, Patrick Brooks, Louis Greidanus Jr., Adriana Greidanus, Paul (Bekah) Greidanus, and Mark Greidanus; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Gerda Greidanus, Sippie Williamson, and Jennie Williamson; four brothers, Piet (Hillie) Hendrik, Sid (Rena), Jan (Froukje); and sisters, Froukje Terpstra, Jikke Bootsma and Sippie (Auke) Spijksma.
Besides his wife of 37 years, Wilhelmina (September 9, 1988), Louis was predeceased by his grandson, Jarrod Hill, daughter-in-law, Sonya (nee Houweling) Greidanus, parents, Tjerk and Grietje (Leyendekker) Greidanus, brothers, Ate (Sippie), Gerben (Fokje) and Norman Greidanus, his brother and sister who passed away in infancy, as well as sisters, Anna (Ted) Hofstee, Cory (Eerde) de Jong and Janke (Jan) Nauta. Louis also was predeceased by brothers-in-law; Tjerk Terpstra, Hans Bootsma, William (Bertha), Evert, Ralph, Arend (Maria) and Gerrit Williamson and in-laws, Rita (Chris) Deurloo, Catherine (Fred) Williams and Joan (Bert) Hildebrand.
Louis was born in Tzum, Friesland, The Netherlands on January 26, 1928, one of 16 children. In April of 1948, Louis immigrated to Granum and began work on the Williamson farm where he met his future wife Wilhelmina Williamson. They were married on March 27, 1951. In 1956 Louis and Wilhelmina purchased a farm east of Granum where Louis lived for the rest of his life working as a farmer and beekeeper. His life was one of gratitude and contentment for what he had been blessed with by His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; Christian parents, Christian home, a faithful Christian wife, eternal life.
A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Monday, March 6th, 2017 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A Private Family burial will be held at the Granum Christian Reformed Cemetery.
A Funeral Service will take place at the TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH – 1100 40th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB. on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Thomas G. Albaugh officiating.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Louis, donations may be made to Rehoboth Christian Ministries – AB-512, Coaldale, AB T1M 1N1.

HARD
NOELLA HARD passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on February 22, 2017, after a brief illness at the age of 93 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 – Mayor Magrath Drive, South on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 10:30 A.M., with Deacon Isaac Driedger officiating.

James Gray
1933 – 2017
Mr. James Gray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 83 years. MACKENZIE
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of DONALD MACKENZIE, who passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on February 26, 2017 at the age of 69 years.
Don is lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife Judy, daughter Christie (Mike) Archibald, son David, six grandchildren; Raygen, Rylee, Nathan, Connor, Alexis and Jesse, mother Helen, sister Susan (Lon) Redpath and niece Megan (Jay) McMillan.
Don was predeceased by his father Gordon and his brother Brian.
Don was an investment advisor for 40 years. He loved his job and became close friends with many of his clients. Don was the co-founder of the Lethbridge Food Bank and served as President of the Board for more than 20 years. He found great joy in helping others.
Don had a passion for the sport of shooting and was a member of the Fort Whoop-Up Black Powder Club. He really enjoyed competing, serving on the board, taking care of the range and being with all the great people in that organization.
Don loved visiting with and talking to people. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. We will miss all of his interesting stories and good advice. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at the SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH – 1011 – 4th Avenue South Lethbridge, AB on Friday, March 10th, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend James Grunden officiating.
In lieu of flowers there will be a donation box for the Lethbridge Food Bank at the church.

Passed away with family by his side at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, ON on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 85. Brem is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Hilborn; daughter, Alana Steward (Jim); son, Akira Sugimoto (Joanne); step- daughter, Micheline Courtemanche (Brad); step-son, Richard Courtemanche (Lucy); 12 grandchildren; and sister, Tomiko Sugimoto. DON YUILL, passed away in Cardston on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the age of 60 years, beloved husband of Shirlee Yuill.
