1992 – 2017
Miss Vikki Lee Badura of Lethbridge, beloved daughter of Keith and Tammy Badura, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 24 years. Besides her loving parents Keith and Tammy Badura, Vikki is survived by her sisters Amanda (Iain) Hosgood and their children Jayda and Zackry; Jodie Badura (Dylan Rushford) and their daughter Kinzlie. A Celebration of Vikki’s Life will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 Street, South, Lethbridge, AB, with Pastor Rodger Halvorsen officiating. Jeanette Bareman, beloved wife of Marion Bareman, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 59 years.

BENNETT
IRVIN JAMES BENNETT, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 84 years.
Irvin was born May 16, 1932, on the family farm in Armada, Alberta to Albert and Nina Bennett. He shared his birthday with his twin sister Iva. He grew up on the farm and took over when he was 17 years old, after the death of his Dad. Irvin was a meticulous and diligent farmer up until he retired in 1992. Irvin never complained about his physical challenges in his last years. He accepted his Parkinsons with such grace and dignity, his cancer going undetected until just days before his passing.
His love of fishing, farming and golfing were second to his love of his family. Besides his loving wife Georgina, he is survived by his three daughters; Marla (Rob) Blackwell, Colleen, (Allan) Bartsch and Donna Bennett-Deitz (Keith). He was blessed with seven grandchildren; Christopher (Jana) Bartsch, Jennifer Bartsch Maki (Ryyan), Kimberley (Peter) Whyte, Ryan (Kelsie) Blackwell, Evan Deitz (Chelsey Kitaguchi), Gina Deitz, and Lisa Deitz (Aaron Dias); four great-grandchildren; Allyson, Andrew, Eliana and Cailin. Also, he is survived by his twin sister Iva (Ike deceased) Theissen, sisters-in-law; Muriel (Chuck deceased) Anderson, Janet (Don deceased) Whiteman, Betty (Max deceased) Hanna, Helen (Jack) Wieshlow; brothers-in-law, Ted (Sharon) Oakes, Bill (Onalee) Oakes and Bob (Faye) Oakes, Lloyd Sereda (Cheryl Oakes deceased), Al (Marg deceased) McCashew.
Irvin was predeceased by his older sister Ethel (passed in infancy), parents Albert and Nina (Langworthy) Bennett.

BODIOU
STANLEY VINCENT BODIOU passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the age of 72 years.
Stan is survived by his son Ian (Melodie), sisters Valerie, Sandra and Elaine (Brent); grandchildren Ainsley, Emily and Aidan; nephews Randall (Carla), Duane and nieces Paula (Tonia) and Wanda (Calvin); as well as great-nephews and great-nieces.
He was predeceased by his son Stanley Neil, his parents Yves and Edith, nephew Wayne and great-niece Brandi-Lee.
Stan was born on August 15, 1944 in England. He travelled to Canada by ship at age 1 with Mom and sister Valerie eventually moving to Cardston and later to Lethbridge where he resided until his passing.
Stan loved to ski and his favourite hills were at Castle Mountain Resort near Pincher Creek. He was a founding member and instructor of the Canadian Association of Disabled Skiing – Alberta (CADS Alberta) and was very proud of all his students. He was a statistician and proud supporter for the Lethbridge Hurricanes and previous Lethbridge hockey teams for over 30 years and rarely missed a game.
Stan was a good father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a kind generous giving man, liked by all who knew him and he knew and cared about a lot of people. He was always willing to lend a hand at whatever was asked of him be it cattle branding, fixing fences or leaky faucets and everything in between.
Stan retired at age 65 from Lafarge Concrete after 41 years of working as block plant supervisor.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15 (7:00 – 10:00 p.m.) at his favorite hangout Boss Hogs Country Saloon, 1210 – 1 Avenue South, Lethbridge (18 plus years of age). The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CADS Alberta – Lethbridge (CanadaHelps.org)

Helen Harmon
1927 – 2017
Mrs. Helen Harmon, beloved wife of Mr. Delmer (Del) Harmon, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Monday March 27, 2017 at the age of 89 years.
Helen was born in Slovakia and came to Canada at the age 2. She spent her childhood in Saskatchewan and in the Taber area with her family. In 1942, she moved to Lethbridge and started her career as a waitress during the war. She enjoyed her career serving others for 40 years, retiring at age 62.
Besides her loving husband, Del Harmon of Lethbridge, Helen is survived by her daughter Linda of Edmonton; son Gary (Marlene) of Lethbridge; sister Mary of Lethbridge; brother Ernie (Pam) of England; brother-in-law Jack (Dorothy) of Montana, U.S.A; cousins Elsie and Helen of Taber; cousins in Slovakia as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Anne and brother Joseph.
Helen met Del in Lethbridge in 1947 and they married March 18, 1949. This past Saturday, March 18, they celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
In the 1950’s, Helen and Del had 2 children, Linda and Gary. Helen enjoyed reading, puzzles, a good mystery, cooking, baking and gardening. She loved flowers, roses being her favorite. Helen especially enjoyed her visits to Waterton and travelling. She was a wonderful wife, mother and a friend to many. She will be missed and her memory will remain in our hearts.
A private Memorial Service will take place. Inurnment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery Columbarium.

ALBERT TREVOR MILLWARD, beloved husband of Martha Montez Foggin Millward, passed away in Raymond on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Trevor was born August 14, 1939 to Frank and Dorothy Millward in Lethbridge, Alberta and was raised in the hamlet of Monarch, Alberta. His father, mother, and brother, Ronald, predeceased Trevor. Trevor worked in the manufactured home industry for many years as a line foreman and finished his career working for the Town of Magrath (his hometown), which allowed him to spend more time with his family and friends. Trevor and Martha were also entrepreneurs, setting up and operating 2 family businesses: MTM Garbage Hauling and Marty’s Draperies. Trevor leaves behind a loving wife, Martha Montez Foggin; 4 sons, Murray (Cheryl), Kelly (Tracy), Jason (Katherine), and Trevor (Tammy) Millward; and 13 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Cannon & Mitchell Millward; Josie, Cooper, Rider Millward; Logan, Aiden Millward; Devin (Kelsey), Nash (Jazlyn Pitcher), Cloe Millward; and 1 great grandchild Axton Millward. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Millward; brother and sister in-laws, Winona (Don) Thomas, Carl (LeAnne) Foggin, Lyle (Linda) Foggin, Bonita (Darrell) Chenoweth, Kim (Teresa) Foggin, Rod (Lisa) Foggin and many nephews and nieces.

She is also survived by her sister Maryanne (Lester) Stanvick of Carbon; in-laws Bernie Newberry, Roy (Mary Lou) Newberry, Mary Ann Newberry, Betty (John) Edwards, Dorthy Risdale, Phyllis (Art) Lange, Joan Riddleback, Alfred (Rita) Newberry and Lorraine Yomans.
She was predeceased by her parents Andy and Jean Brown, sister Deborah Brown; in-laws Maudie (Ed) Staszewski, Susie (Paul) Rilkoff, Shorty Newberry, Phillip Newberry, Louis Newberry and Kenny Risdale.
Colleen was born March 24, 1955 in Bassano to Andy and Jean Brown. She was a member of the Royal Purple for forty years and Lioness for fifteen years. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Marjory Caroline ROSS
(nee: Adams)
1934 – 2017
Marjory Ross of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 28th at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years. Marjory was born on December 2, 1934 in Haileybury, Ontario to Henry and Daisy Adams.
Marjory worked at the Haileybury / Temiskaming Hospital for 20 plus years. After her retirement and the death of her husband Garnet, she moved to Alberta to be closer to her only child and family. Marjory spent hours upon hours in hockey rinks watching her grandsons chase and achieve their dreams of playing professional hockey.
She was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Haileybury Branch 54 Ladies Auxiliary and later in life, the Royal Canadian Legion Cochrane (Alberta) Branch 15. Her favorite pass time was Seniors Curling.
Marjory is survived by her son Rory (Elaine), grandsons Nicholas and Bradley of Lethbridge, Alberta, her sister Gertie Hallworth, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Garnet, parents Henry and Daisy, as well as sixteen brothers and sisters.
Marjory was an extremely loving and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed. A special thanks to the staff for the care provided at the Good Samaritan West Highlands and the staff at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

SZABO
MS. DONNA JEAN SZABO, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the St. Therese Villa on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 78 years.
Donna is lovingly remembered by her three daughters, Erin (Gerb) Hart, Debbie Werk (George Androkovich) and Kelly Szabo (Paul Kipnik); six grandchildren, Jen and Andrew, Michele and Jeff (Cheena) and Amber and Daniel (Britany); and seven great- grandchildren, Zane, Matilda, Nevaeh, Jerzee, Lyric, Leah and Damon. Other people that were dear to Donna’s heart were Bob Hughes (common-law husband of Janice Firth) and Ryan Process (father of four of her great- grandchildren).
Donna was predeceased by her mother and father, stepfather, sister Nola Colwell and her daughter Janice Firth as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Donna was born on October 10, 1938 in Brantford, Ontario, one of two daughters of the late Cpl. George A. Fisher, Ethel E. Catherwood and stepfather Jack Fern.
Mom lived at St. Therese Villa for the past five years and made many friends with the staff and residents of the west wing. She felt like they were all family. She enjoyed bingo, crib, making school lunches and many other activities.
At Donna’s request, no formal funeral service will be held. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
I would like to say a very special thank you to the Kipnik family for making my mom feel so loved and a part of their family. I would also like to thank Michele Werk (Donna’s Granddaughter) for all of the help and support that she has given to me since Mom’s passing.
