ROSS BEAUDOIN, of the county of Warner and beloved husband of Cheryl Beaudoin, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the age of 78 years.

Cecil Beaudry

1932 – 2017

Mr. Cecil Beaudry of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Betty Beaudry, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Cecil was born in Altamont, Manitoba in 1932 but was raised and educated in Somerset, Manitoba. Cecil married his high school sweetheart Betty, on July 1, 1953 and was a very loving husband. They just celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. He enjoyed numerous sports, but hockey was his passion! Cecil spent his whole career in the meat industry, having apprenticed with his father in-law Freddie. He went on to work in the meat processing plants in Winnipeg, North Battleford, Lethbridge and Calgary. In his spare time and retirement, Cecil and Betty enjoyed travelling. He also enjoyed his garden, yard and the kitchen where he created the most amazing desserts. (Banana split cake and marshmallows!!) Besides his loving wife Betty, Cecil is survived by his daughter Debbie Hofrichter of Lethbridge, Alberta; grandchildren Danielle (Barry Robertson) Pageot of Trochu, Alberta, Troy (Lindsay) Pageot of Lethbridge, Alberta; great-grandchildren Chase Gustman of Claresholm, Alberta, Delena Gustman of Claresholm, Alberta; brother Norman (Carol) Beaudry of Winnepeg, Manitoba; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Besides his parents Leon and Antoinette Beaudry, Cecil was predeceased by his parents in-law Fred and Mabel Lusignan; sister Bella Labossiere; sister in-law Donna Tyson; brother in-law Claud Tyson and son in-law Jeff Hofrichter. A Private Family gathering will be held at a later date.

DAVID LLOYD CLARKE of Lethbridge Alberta, passed away July 11, 2017 at the age of 77. Dave was pre-deceased by his daughter Kirby. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Hughson) of 51 years, children Graham (Hilary), Christopher, Andrea (Mark) and his loving brothers, sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. David was an entrepreneur, with endeavors as a teacher, farmer, business owner and real estate agent. Also, a big member of the community, Dave was involved in theatre, sports, barbershop, and fundraising. Coming from a large farming family in central Alberta, he was a father and brother with a knack for teaching, coaching and keeping the family together.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Monday July 17, 2017 at the Lethbridge Lodge Grand Ballroom, 320 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge.

Frank William Vanden Berg

1918 – 2017

Mr. Frank Vanden Berg passed away peacefully at St. Therese Villa in his 99th year on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Denie in 2009, and his daughter Joanne in 1998. He is lovingly remembered by his son Don (Nop) Vanden Berg, daughter Marilyn (Bob) Thomas, along with his grandchildren Nathan Vanden Berg, Christopher (Alisa) Thomas, Cari Ensign, Michael (Sheena) Thomas, Karma (Dave) Braun, and Kara Kubik. As well as his four great-grandchildren – Blake Ensign, Ashley Ensign, Spencer Thomas & Dawson Thomas. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels. WRIGHT

CAROL BLUMEL WRIGHT beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Royce Wright passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at the Raymond General Hospital at the age of 75.

Carol was born in Magrath, Alberta, the fourth child to Horace Frederick Blumel and Ella Toomer. Carol grew up in Magrath and lived there most of her life. She was the one that finally slowed down Bob and married him in September 1967 and shortly thereafter moved to Provo, Utah for Bob to complete an Education degree. They lived in Calgary for a few years while Bob taught school then they moved back to Magrath to be closer to take care of their mothers. Carol worked in the local bank for many years monitoring her four children’s lives through concerned citizen’s reports. Her entire life was spent dedicated to her family, friends and community.

Carol is survived by her four greatest accomplishments David (Tricia) of Taber, Laura Jane of Lethbridge, Suzanne Proctor of Lethbridge, and Ken (Natalie) of Claresholm. The greatest enjoyment she had was her 10 grand children Royce, Genna, Dani and Darci Wright, Ben and Ella Proctor, Jackson, Nate, Zak and Easton Wright. She did her best to keep up with all family and sporting events and earned the name of GoGo Gram. Her whistle from the sidelines will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters Mary Jane Rice, Margaret Sugden; and brother Fred Blumel.

Friends may meet the family ONLY on Sunday, July 16th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Garden Place Chapel in Magrath.

The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, GARDEN PLACE CHAPEL, on Monday, July 17th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
