BAN

OTTILIA M. BAN, age 95, passed away on September 22, 2017. Ottilia was born on December 14, 1921, in Kiralyrev, Hungary. She later immigrated to Canada with her husband Johann, (deceased, 1999) and 1956, to a farm in central Alberta, where she loved being. She loved her farm, she and Julia still loved spending time reminiscing about the farm. Ottilia spent time in both Raymond, Alberta and Fairmont, BC where she loved the Hot Springs. Mum loved working in her gardens and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved birds and often her family would find her with a wild bird sitting on her hand. She will be missed by her daughters, Julia (William) and Lisa (Dan). Mum was always there for grandchildren, Laina (Keely), Christian, Benjamin, Kaylee & James as well as her great grandson Jake, who she adored. She is survived by her sisters Rose, Elisabeth, and Julia, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a private graveside service for the family on Tuesday, September 26.
