Helen L. Duff (Duffy)

February 11, 1944- May 16, 2018

Lethbridge got a little duller on Wednesday May 16th when Duffy passed away at the age of 74 years.

She is survived by her husband of (almost) 55 years, Roy H. Duff. He is lost without “The Warden” here telling him to “Stick It in His Ear”. Mom was a strong woman which is how she survived raising her sons Rick, Dean and Shane. She loved her daughters-in-law Shannon and Judy. She was the proud Grandma of 6 and a Great Grandma to 1.

Many people will remember Duffy’s fun personality when she worked at St. Mike’s, it was never boring when Duffy was on shift. She loved watching her TV shows, playing lotto 649, dancing with Roy and she was known to enjoy a beer.

Duffy claimed she wasn’t the “Royal Bank of Canada” so it’s no surprise she didn’t want a service. As usual the boys aren’t listening.

The family of Duffy would like to invite everyone who knew her to celebrate her life on Friday June 8, 2018 at 5:00pm-8:00pm in the MEMORIAL HALL OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION- 324 Mayor Magrath Dr S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 3L7.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to St. Michael’s Health Centre in her memory- Room 3C60, 11111 Jasper Avenue Edmonton, AB T5K 0L4, or email foundation@CovenantHealth.ca.
