Bruna Cattapan
1926 – 2018
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bruna Cattapan, at Good Samaritan West Highland on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 92. Bruna was born on July 31, 1926 to Antonio and Angelina Simioni, in S.Andrea, Treviso Italy. Bruna and her husband immigrated to Canada where they raised their family. She was dedicated to her family. We will always be mindful of her love, sacrifice, devotion and life lessons. Bruna is survived by her loving children Rino (Charlene) Cattapan, grandsons AJ and Alex (Mandy) Cattapan; Antoinette (Willie) Simons, granddaughter Jennifer (Shaun) Wasylien, great grand-daughter Andrea Wasylien; Norrie (Barry) Hall, grandson Craig Fuller, great grandson Raeden Fuller, granddaughter Amanda (Anthony) Kalegaric and great grandson Owen Kalegaric. Besides her loving husband Alberto, Bruna was predeceased by her siblings Giacomo Simioni, Judy Turcato, Guerino Simioni, Santa Antonello as well as her son-in-law Ken Fuller. A Vigil Rites Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects 1 hour prior. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at ST. MARTHA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia Blvd. W, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Father William Monis, celebrating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.

Ronald “Ron” Chambers
1941 – 2018
Mr. Ronald “Ron” Chambers of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Renie Chambers, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer at Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Ron loved living on the farm, fishing, hunting, camping, boating and just being outdoors. Besides his loving wife Renie, Ron is survived by his son Danny; daughter-in-law Lori Howe; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Ron was predeceased by his loving parents Stancil and Annie Chambers; son Barry; daughter-in-law Jane as well as his siblings. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the Mountain View Cemetery at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

HENRY DRONKELAAR, beloved husband of the late Henny Dronkelaar, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the age of 89 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children Art (Joyce) Dronkelaar, Lucy (Delbert) Kooy, Pat (Don) Groot, John (Coleen) Dronkelaar, and Allan (Melissa) Dronkelaar; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends.
Henry was predeceased by his wife Henny (2004), and by all his seven siblings.
Henry was born on February 24, 1929 near Nijkerk, Netherlands. As there were no opportunities on the family farm, he decided to immigrate to Canada in 1948 at the age of 19.
Henry married Henny Slomp on November 16, 1955 in Iron Springs, Alberta. They farmed in the area for 37 years till their retirement in 1992, when they moved to their home in Picture Butte. Henry loved farming and continued to help out on the family farm after his retirement.
A Private Interment will be held at the Huntsville Cemetery near Iron Springs, on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 followed by a Memorial Service at the IRON SPRINGS CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH at 2:00 P.M.

Henry Yee
1932 – 2018
Henry Yee (Yee Yim Sun) passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years, on September 3, 2018. Henry was born in Dow Moon, China in 1932, immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s and married his wife, Judy in 1957. He had worked in the restaurant industries for over 50 years, starting as a young server in Banff, AB; then Field BC, working his way to management; then as a restaurant owner in Lethbridge until his retirement. Henry had a passion for the restaurant business. He loved his customers and would always greet them with his smile, handshake, and his unique “Business Laugh”. Henry is survived by his daughters: Raina (Alan) Ward, and Blenda (Jerry Knott) Sorensen; his grandchildren: Samantha, Pamela, Adam, and Caroline; Sister in law, Wendy Yee; nephew, Eddie Yee; nieces: Karen Hall and Debbie Yee; and his great-nephew, Brandon Hall. He will be missed by many friends, and relatives in San Francisco, Philadelphia USA, and in China. Henry was predeceased by his wife, Judy Yee; his parents: Mee Lun and Quai Sing Yee; brother, Harold Yee; sister, Yee Yim Mai; his grandchildren: Christopher Sorensen and Marilyn Ward and his niece’s husband, Quinn Hall. Malchow, John (Jack) Wallace January 10, 1931 –
September 5, 2018
Jack Malchow passed away at the South Health Campus Hospital in Calgary on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at age 87. Born and raised in Stavely, Alberta, Jack married Irene McAllister in 1951 and they began raising their family in Lethbridge, Alberta. In 1963 the family moved to Rossland, B.C. and eventually bought Wises Hardware Store. It was there Jack would develop his hobby of buying and selling fire arms, which grew over the next 50 years. In 2004 Irene passed away and Jack returned to Stavely, where he continued his hobby and attended weekend Gun Shows across western Canada. “Jack of Many Guns” true enjoyment was the people and the friendships which developed thru the 50 years. Jack is survived by his daughter Pam and grandchildren Paige (Todd) and Quinn (Tara) and great-grandson Mason; son Dennis (Margaret) and grandchildren Ali and Jack; as well as 4 sisters: Eleanor, Doreen, Wilda and Gloria. Jack suffered a stroke in 2017 and struggled for the next year to recover. The family would like to thank A.H.S. along with staff at Calgary, High River and Claresholm for the care and attention always given to Jack. A Memorial Service will be held at the Stavely Community Hall (5101-52 Street, Stavely) on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Mrs. Valerie Marsh of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Kenneth Marsh, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Valerie is survived by her children Mrs. Karen (Brian) Firth, Mr. Kevin Marsh; grandchildren Veronica, Kyle, Serenity, Ruth; great-grandson William as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. TAYLOR
Terrance Dale Taylor was born May 8, 1951, in Edmonton Alberta to Glen Franklin Taylor and Dorothy Alberta Marguerite Greenhalgh. Sometime before he started Grade One they moved to Brandon, Manitoba. In March of 1958 his mother passed away and in July of 1959 his father married Lillian Elsie Filmer. When He graduated from high school in 1969 he moved with his parents to Lethbridge where he enrolled at the University of Lethbridge in the fall.
Dale joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in January of 1970 and after completing his second year of university he served a two-year mission for the church in Quebec.
On March 13, 1976, he married his sweetheart, Marianne Russell in the Cardston, Alberta temple. In May of the same year he graduated from the U of L with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees, completing a five-year course in four years.
Dale loved learning and had a talent for writing. He loved games and playing them with family and friends. Over the years he amassed a large collection. But most of all Dale loved his family. He taught for a number of years, held various other jobs, and ended his career at 5th on 5th Youth Services where he worked as a literacy facilitator. He enjoyed helping young people learn and reach goals and made many valued friendships.
Dale was predeceased by his mother, step mother, father and a brother, Barrie, who passed away before Dale was born. He is survived by his wife Marianne, his children Terri-Anne (Jo) Sanning, Shannon (Jorge) Mansilla, Mark (Laura) Taylor and Kelly (Kevin Numerow) Taylor, his grandchildren Max, Parker, Zachary, Nolan, Emmitt and Bethany Taylor, Adrian Mansilla, and a step granddaughter Amilia Mansilla.
Friends may meet with the family at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home at 703 13 Street North, Lethbridge on Sunday, September 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17 at 11:00 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Northside Chapel, 2213 6A Ave N in Lethbridge. Cremation to follow.
