RIEFSNYDER

MRS. JACOBA “COKI” HELENA GERTRUDE RIEFSNYDER, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the age of 98 years.

Coki is survived by her family: niece Helene Darcel, great-nieces Victoria Darcel & Miranda (Considine) in Canada, Thea Ekker, Saskia, Jan Paul and Dick van der Pas (cousins) and others in the Netherlands, England and Australia.

She was predeceased by husband Henry Riefsnyder, parents Horatio Goldsmith & Helena (Van der Pas) Goldsmith, sister Sonja Darcel, nephew Paul Darcel, cousin Wim, cousin Joyce, & others in England & the Netherlands.

Coki lived in Britain and Holland, and served in the military in her earlier years. She was a character and a half, having a wonderfully unique sense of humour and a quick wit. She loved her cats dearly, and enjoyed travelling. Coki confessed Christ as her savior at College Drive Community Church and was baptized in her 80’s. She will be missed.

A Funeral Service will be at COLLEGE DRIVE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 2710 College Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor John Moerman officiating.

A Memorial Service will be held at MARANATHA CRC, 260 McGill Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 1:00 P.M.

A Private Family Interment will be held prior to the Memorial Service.
