Darcy Bitz
1962 – 2018
Mr. Darcy Bitz of Fort Macleod passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 56 years.
Darcy was born to parents Ruby and Arthur Bitz in Calgary, Alberta on May 14, 1962. He attended school in Calgary, then later moved to Fort Macleod, Alberta. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to go camping, fishing and hiking. He also loved to play his guitar and write his own songs.
Darcy is survived by 3 brothers; Len, Gary, and Brian Bitz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Darcy was predeceased by his parents; Ruby and Arthur Bitz, grandparents; Gramma and Grandpa Bitz, and Gramma and Grandpa Stevensen.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM, on Monday, January 7, 2019 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610- 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, AB.

Brian passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital after a short illness at the age of 80 years old.
He is predeceased by his parents Les & Edith, sisters (Gail & Bonnie) and survived his five brothers (Jim, Kerry, Goldie, Kevin & Dan) & two sisters (Marilyn & Holly).

MOORE
GERALD “GERRY” FRANCIS MOORE, beloved husband of Karen Moore, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 57 years.
He is the loving father of Ryan (Tara) Moore of Lethbridge and Devin Moore of Lethbridge.
He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren: Quinton and Xander Moore, his mother Marcella Moore and brothers Pat (Linda), Russell and Mark (Denise). Gerald will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his aunt Marg Moore.
He was predeceased by his father William “Bill” Moore, as well as his father and mother-in-law Howard and Maureen Charlesworth.
Gerry was born June 5, 1961 in Carmangay, Alberta to Billy and Marcella Moore. He enjoyed curling, airplanes and especially his ’64 Chevy Impala he bought from his grandparents.
He spent many hours building Remote Control Airplanes until he got sick. He had his private pilot’s license, AG Mechanic license and Appliance tech tickets.
A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH #4 – 324 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenda Wert officiating.
Gerry will be laid to rest at the Bowville Cemetery at a later date.

Bill
is survived by his wife Anna Pyrch; children Jocelyn (John) Davy of
Lethbridge, Calvin (Karla) Pyrch of Coaldale and Karen (David)
Chilibecki of Vegreville; grandchildren Michael Davy, Michelle Davy,
Nicholas Pyrch, Kristan (David) Adkins, Jessica Pyrch, Melissa Pyrch,
Dean Collett, Erin Collett, Cole Chilibecki and Curtis Chilibecki; great
grandchildren Max, Zoey, Shawn, Owen, Scarlett and Violet. He is also
survived by his brother-in-law Leonard (Dorothy) Karl.
He was predeceased by parents Katie and Olie Pyrch; brother John Pyrch; sister Kay Paul and brother-in-law Peter Paul.
Bill
was born on May 27, 1931 at Gwynne, Alberta to Olie and Katie Pyrch, he
joined an older brother John, followed by a little sister Kay. After
high school, Bill went to work with his father at the CPR, where he
worked his entire career.
Bill and Ann met in Camrose and were
married in 1956. With the railroad they moved often also living in
Thorsby, Compeer and Strome. They eventually settled in Taber with their
three children in 1965, where they lived until 2017 when they moved to
Elim Village in Lethbridge.
Bill had many artistic interests
including painting, needlework and stained glass. All of the family
enjoys pieces of his work in their homes. He took pride his yard and won
several best yard awards while in Taber and he loved working in the
flower shop. He was also active in the Taber Choralaires and the Knox
United Church Choir.
