ACROSS THE MOUNTAIN

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandpa Calvin Across The Mountain on April 29, 2019 at Eden Valley, AB. Calvin was born on Jan. 8, 1963 on the Blood Reserve to the late Rodger and Cecile (Hairy Bull) Across The Mountain. Calvin leaves to mourn his children: Keifer, Tammy and Belva Daniels. His grandchildren: Lacoy, Tywanna, Xavion, Annastacia, Tashina, Daisy, Avania, Cyrus, Boyvin and Jesse Daniels. Uncles, Joe, James and Norbert Across The Mountain, Martin (Elizabeth) Vielle. Aunt’s Christine (Jeff) Delorme, Rita Many Fingers. He also leaves to mourn many relatives in Kainai from the Across The Mountain and Hairy Bull families and his in laws the Daniels family in Eden Valley. Calvin was predeceased by his wife Bernice Daniels, children Lance and Erica Daniels. A wake service will be held on the Blood Reserve on Thursday May 9 at the Senator Gladstone Hall commencing at 3:00 pm. 1943 – 2019

Mr. Dennis Arndt of Raymond, beloved husband of Mrs. Shirley Arndt, passed away at the Raymond Health Care Centre on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the age of 75 years. There will be an Honor Ride for Dennis on Saturday, May 11, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the LETHBRIDGE CASINO, 3756 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1J 4Y9. Everyone is to park their bike in the roped off section of the Casino parking lot. A breakfast buffet with coffee will be available in the social room in the Casino. Honor Parade Ride will leave at 1:00PM sharp and proceed to a Celebration of Dennis’ Life which will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the 702 WING AIR PORT, 174, Stubb Ross Road, Lethbridge, Alberta.

AUSTIN STRICKLAND, beloved husband of Alice Strickland of Lethbridge, Bridge Villa, passed away at home on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 74 years.

He is the loving father of Janie (Mike), Austin Jr, Steven and Rosie; step-father to Arthur, Julia, Donna, Linda and Johnny.

Austin was a truck driver, he moved from Nova Scotia to work with Big Horn.

TSUKISHIMA

MARK MASARU TSUKISHIMA

Passed away suddenly at the age of 27 on May 7, 2019. Mark was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was generally a happy person always joking around, throwing his light hearted kidney punches right up until the day he passed. He was a kind hearted compassionate person and was well liked by people from all walks of life. Mark will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his parents Amy and Wayne Tsukishima, brothers Ryan (Jireh) Tsukishima, Tom Tsukishima, sister Nicole Jacklin (John), nephews Bentley and Maverik Jacklin and grandmother Keiko Tsukishima.

Friends are welcome to meet with the family on Friday May 10, 2019 between 7-8pm at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 433 Stubb Ross Road South. A private family Service will be held on Saturday May 11, 2019.
