PAULINE CURLY RIDER passed away in Cardston on June 29th, 2019 at the age of 62 years.
A Family Service will be at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, July 5th from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. followed by the Wake Service at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at the Senator Gladstone Hall on Saturday, July 6th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Pioneer Cemetery.

1957-2019
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Gary Dogterom of Spruce Grove, AB announce his passing on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the age of 62.

DONALD ANDERSON
After a long battle with cancer Donald LaRoy Anderson passed peacefully on June 13th, 2019 at the age of 77. Don was a generous, kind and gentle soul. He became an avid outdoorsman at an early age while growing up in Southern Alberta. Don moved to Elkford in 1979 and then to Sparwood where he continued to enjoy golfing and the outdoors. Don is survived by his children Barb Dodds (Perry), Randy Anderson (Kathleen), Kevin (Renee) Anderson, Jodi (Mike) Saad, his partner Mary Taylor and her children Donna (Frank) Leskosek, David (Sheri) Taylor, Shelly (Terry) Hume, Garry (Char) Taylor, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his brother Allan (Bev) Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents Alice and Richard Anderson and his nephew Doug Anderson. A celebration of life will be held for Don on Friday, July 5 from 1-4 pm at the Sparwood Senior Drop-In Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sparwood Food Bank or the Parkinson Society British Columbia.

Violet “Vi” Mae Henderson of Medicine Hat, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the age of 88 years, beloved wife of the late Edmund “Ed” Henderson. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Janice Henderson-Lypkie (Ken Lypkie), Robert Henderson, Stephanie (Jim) Simpson, Garnet Henderson (Deb Bishop), Judy Henderson (Al Johnson) and one daughter-in-law Carol Henderson; her grandchildren, Tyler (Calli) and their children Cora and Peter; Jessica, Fraser (Camille), Justin (Nancy) and their children Parker and Finley; Sabrina (Chris) and their children Ashton and Blakely; Amber, Connor, Kaitlyn, Izzie and Kaela; one sister, Grace Heller as well as her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Patrick Schuster; her husband Ed in 2012, and two brothers, Bill Schuster and Pat Schuster. In life, Violet’s guiding principle was love to mankind. She raised five children to get along and she taught all her students and grandchildren the importance of kindness. She cultivated family and rich friendships and her home was an inviting place for all who came. Violet was dearly loved by her husband, Ed, and her children.
The funeral service will be held in Westminster United Church (101 6th Street SE, Medicine Hat) on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sheila McLeod officiating. Kyle, beloved son of Pamela Watson, passed away peacefully at the age of 37 in Vancouver, BC on Sunday June 23, 2019 following a brief but courageous battle with acute pancreatitis.
Kyle will be sadly missed by his loving mother, Pam (Allan Watson) and sister, Kasey (Paul Aiello), as well as his nephew Milo. Kyle was predeceased by his father Donald.

KATHRYN (KAY) MONTGOMERY, beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Montgomery, passed away peacefully at the Newport Harbour Care Centre in Calgary surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the age of 90 years.
Kathryn was born February 18, 1929 to Jack and Florence Koenen in Lethbridge and grew up on the family farm just east of Iron Springs, AB.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband Bob, her brothers, Ron, Earl, Ray and his wife Sharon, and her parents.
Kathryn is survived by her son and daughter in law, Rob and Sherry, grandsons Brenden and Sean and doggo Cooper all of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother John Koenen and his wife Sandy of Picture Butte, and sisters-in-law Marilyn (Ron) Koenen and Marj (Earl) Koenen of Lethbridge. Auntie Kay is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Kay will be sadly missed and so lovingly remembered by her family and friends. She was a special person loved by so many. Her spirit will live in our hearts and minds forever.
