Edna Irene Campeau
1926 – 2019
Edna Campeau of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late John Campeau, passed away at St. Michael’s Care Facility on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
Edna was born on June 23, 1926 at the Van Haarlem Hospital in Lethbridge.
Edna was predeceased by her husband John Campeau; parents Isaac and Edna Emmerson of Lethbridge, as well as her sister and brother-in-law Hazel, Brian Rossiter of Richmond, BC and her cousin Marjorie Farmer of Houston, Texas.
Edna is survived by her cousin Robert Rannard of Lethbridge; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
A Private Family inurnment will be held at a later date in the Mountain View Cemetery.

ISABELL ANNE DUELL
November 16, 1928 – August 29th, 2019
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Isabel passed away at Capital Care Grandview, in Edmonton AB, surrounded by family, and very peacefully, at the age of 90 years young.
Isabel’s family and friends knew her as a feisty, fun loving, strong-willed, and colorful personality. Isabel remained very active in her retirement. She was an active member at the Norbridge Senior Centre, and the Lethbridge Association for the Blind. Isabel enjoyed cooking, and was KNOWN for her baking, as she loved to share her baking with her friends, family, and even strangers.
A memorial service/celebration of Isabel’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Isabel to the Lethbridge Association of the Blind, 2905 12 Ave South Lethbridge, AB T1K 0R2.

Surrounded by her loving family, Mrs. (HEINTJE) HENNIE VAN HIERDEN mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, whom she loved so dearly, at the age of 91 years, on Friday, September 6, 2019. She will be sadly missed by her loving children Antonia Indenbosch, Jennie (Jack) Indenbosch, Bert (Carolin) Van Hierden, Peter (Janet) Van Hierden, Henriette (Maurice) Indenbosch, Evelyn (Gerrit) Beekman, Rita (Albert) Boon, John (Martina) Van Hierden, Edward (Els) Van Hierden, Jane (Gerrit) Bezooyen, Margaret (Neil) Slingerland, Henry (Jane) Van Hierden, Elbert (Tanya) Van Hierden; 86 grandchildren and 136 great-grandchildren; sisters Corrie Ouwendorp, Eefje Ruiter, Maasje (Isaac) Kruijt, Cootje van Beek, and brother John (Jans) Klok; sisters-in-law Hennie Van Hierden and Bertha Klok. WILLIAM BRETT HOLLADAY of Lethbridge, AB, beloved husband of Maridel Holladay, passed away peacefully Sept. 7, 2019 at the age of 68 Years. Brett is survived by his wife, daughter Rayla (Jason) Janisko, and his two sons, Kade (Sarah) and Kyle (Connie); his sister Patty (Ken) Perry and his two brothers Jack (Kerri Ann) and Jim (Carol) and numerous nephews and nieces. He is also survived by 11 precious grandchildren: Taylor, Halle, Kody, Brady, Brody, Max, Ryan, Piper, Adam, Mason, and Morgan. He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Joyce Holladay.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 205 Fairmont Boulevard South Lethbridge. A special thanks to St. Michael’s Palliative Centre for the outstanding care given to Brett and also to Home Care for their dedicated care.

McCREADY
It is with gentle relief but broken hearts that we announce the passing of our precious Mom, Nana and G.G., LORENE ANNETTE McCREADY at Extendicare Fairmont on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 98 years.
Mom will be dearly missed by her daughters Brenda (Jim) Clark, Laurie Michelson and Gayle (Murray) McCready Ridgway; grandchildren Erin (Warren) Span, Jill Campbell, Heather (Sam) Gazes, Michelle (Darryl) Jarina and Ryan Clark. She was also the proud G.G. of ten great-grandchildren, Brylan and Hayden Span, Avery and Olivia Jarina, Harper Clark, Hayley and Alyssa Campbell, and Brooklyn, Elias and Lexi Gazes. Mom is also survived by her sister Jeanne Lougheed, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Tom, parents Estelle and Dr. Lawrence Rogers, son-in-law Barry Michelson and her brother Bob Rogers.
Mom was born in Forestburg, Alberta on June 23, 1921. She was delivered at home by her dad who was a country doctor. She followed in her father’s footsteps and graduated from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton as an RN in 1944. The career she loved took her from Edmonton to Vancouver and then to Lethbridge.
Mom lived a long, full life. Her passions were family, friends, sewing, painting, golf, gardening and travelling. Mom travelled the world with the Friendship Force, many dear friends and her children. She visited every province in Canada, but particularly loved British Columbia and the Maritimes. What adventures she had and what stories she told.
No matter what challenge Mom was presented, she handled it with strength, grace, positive attitude and a touch of sass. Mom always had a smile on her face.

ANNA STICKEL, beloved wife of the late Clarence Stickel, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family at her side following a brief bout with Pneumonia on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Anna will be laid to rest in a Graveside Service along side Clarence at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. and everyone is invited to attend.

THIESSEN
ELIZABETH THIESSEN, beloved wife of the late John B. Thiessen of Lethbridge, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on September 6, 2019.
Her garden grew to accommodate her growing family: Edna (Larry), Arnold “Ziff” (Kathy), Lawrence (Kelly), Albert “Mic” (Nancy) and Norma. Elizabeth and John also enjoyed their 19 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Participation in church activities was a big part of her family through the years and they shared much time skiing, swimming, golfing and traveling.
Elizabeth was the last living sibling in her Poettcker family. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Henry, Abe, Mary, John and Anne.

ZATYLNY
KATHERINA “KAY” ZATYLNY, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Steve Zatylny, passed away peacefully at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, AB. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 97 years.
Kay is survived by her son Gerry (Karen); three grandchildren, Stephanie (Steve), Jason (Priscilla) and Lindsay (Justin); and her four great-grandchildren; Blake, Ethan, Helaina and Jack as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve, son Melvin, as well as four sisters and one brother.
Kay was born at home in Harrison, Manitoba to Jurko and Teny (Bodnar) Tymkowyd on July 7, 1922. She was the second youngest of six siblings.
Kay will be fondly remembered as a talented seamstress, who loved to cook and garden. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kay was a member of the Our Lady of Assumption Church (All Saints Parish) in Lethbridge.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.
Following the Mass, Kay will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.
