H. DONNA COOPER, beloved wife of John Cooper, passed away in Cardston, Alberta on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at the age of 82 years.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cardston Alberta Stake Centre (338 – 5 Ave East) in Cardston, AB.
Friends may meet the family on Saturday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

We’re sad to announce that Paul McKenzie Drummond passed away on September 8, 2019, at the age of 48 years. Paul is survived by his son Wyatt; stepson Ethan; brother Scott (Kolleen); Auntie Kay, Auntie Marg (Sam) and many other relatives in the Drummond clan. He was predeceased by his mother Helen and father Dave. Paul was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman whose smile would light up the room. He will be missed by all. 1941-2019
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gene Karaki in Lethbridge, Alberta on Monday, September 2, 2019 at the age of 78 years. Gene is survived by his brothers George (Geraldine), Gordon (Mihoko), Victor (Roxanne), sister-in-law Etsuko (Melvin), sisters Joy (Stewart) Lang, and Linda (Wayne) Finkbeiner. Uncle Gene is remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews. Gene was pre-deceased by his parents Mitsuo and Sachie (Iwaasa) Karaki and brother Melvin. Gene was born April 1, 1941 in Raymond, Alberta. The family moved to Cassils, Alberta where he continued school there and in Rosemary, Alberta. He participated in many sports including football, basketball, boxing and judo. His career in the Alberta oil fields took him to many countries including Thailand, the Philippines, and the Baltic Sea in the Arctic. He retired to the Kootenay Lake area where he enjoyed fishing, quading and picking huckleberries. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints NORTH SIDE CHAPEL (2223 6 Ave N, Lethbridge Alberta). Joshua is survived by his two beloved daughters Esther Wipf and Dora Wipf; two sons Ben (Cathy) Wipf and Jonathan (Susan) Wipf; grandchildren Benita, Shania, Avery, Jasmyn, Chelsey (Sam), Amber, Rylan, Abigail and Nathan; great grandchild Miya as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Susie; son Paul; parents Paul and Mary Wipf; brother Paul (Annie) Wipf; sisters Mary (Dave) Hofer of Hillridge, Annie (Peter) Hofer of Fort Saskatchewan, Katie (Joe) Stahl of Etzikom and Susie (Paul) Stahl of Etzikom.
Joshua was born in Warner on September 9, 1937 and grew up at the Lakeside Colony. He moved to Hillridge Colony in 1993 and lived there till his passing.
Joshua knew his Lord, loved singing hymns and hearing them too. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and friends, who took him for walks in his wheelchair. Joshua worked with sheep for two years, the dairy for ten years and piggery for twenty five years. He was a man of many talents, always willing to lend a helping hand. Joshua will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Everyone was always welcome in his home.

ZATYLNY
KATHERINA “KAY” ZATYLNY, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Steve Zatylny, passed away peacefully at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert, AB. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 97 years.
Kay is survived by her son Gerry (Karen); three grandchildren, Stephanie (Steve), Jason (Priscilla) and Lindsay (Justin); and her four great-grandchildren; Blake, Ethan, Helaina and Jack as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Steve, son Melvin, as well as four sisters and one brother.
Kay was born at home in Harrison, Manitoba to Jurko and Teny (Bodnar) Tymkowyd on July 7, 1922. She was the second youngest of six siblings.
Kay will be fondly remembered as a talented seamstress, who loved to cook and garden. She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kay was a member of the Our Lady of Assumption Church (All Saints Parish) in Lethbridge.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Kevin Tumback celebrating.
Following the Mass, Kay will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery.
