BAILEY
It seems disingenuous to distill the entirety of a life down to so few written words, and what a life it was. From humble beginnings in Flin Flon, Manitoba, to stock car racing in Calgary. From long haul trucking to business ownership and everything in between. It seemed there was nothing he couldn’t do and couldn’t fix, mechanical or otherwise, as long as it was made before the 2000s. And though he began hundreds of projects, never finishing any of them, he was never too busy to stop what he was doing if someone needed help, family or otherwise. LAWRENCE BLAINE BAILEY passed away the evening of November 5, 2019, our father, a man who loved his wife and children, now gone, will never be forgotten.
Lawrence is survived by his loving wife Betty; daughter Jennifer (Jason) deBoer and granddaughters Ceili and Bridget; and son Sean (Shanna) Bailey and grandsons Connor and Ryder. Lawrence will be greatly missed by his family.
At Lawrence’s request, no funeral service will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
