ANNE EVA BORAS, beloved wife of the late Walter Boras, passed away at the Good Samaritans Park Meadows Village, on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. CATHERINE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 762 Crescent Avenue, Picture Butte, AB, on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Ian Gagne celebrating.

Following the Funeral Mass, Anne will be laid to rest with her husband in Mountain View Cemetery.

It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Amanda Jade Davis, on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Left to mourn Amanda are her parents: Patrick and Nadine Yellow Wings; her brother and sister-in-law, Patrick (PJ) and Quincy; nieces: Dakota Phoenix Jade and Carling Saharrah Chancii Joy; nephew: Lukan James Kash; her Grandparents: Isaac Sr. (deceased) and Rosabel; Gordon (deceased) and Annie Davis. Amanda is predeceased by her grandfathers: Isaac Yellow Wings, Sr and Gordon Davis, brother Kevin Pat and her cat Cleo. A Family Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. On Friday January 24, 2020 at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 5th Ave, Fort Macleod followed by a Wake Service between 7:00 P.M. till 11:00 P.M. at the White Calf Community Hall, Standoff, Alberta The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday January 25, 2020 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Blood Reserve, Alberta, with Father Pawel Andrasz officiating. Amanda will be laid to rest in the Yellow Wings Family Plot. Following the Interment, family, friends and relatives are invited to the White Calf Hall for a feast.

The family of Josephine Ida Tolton, sadly announce that we have lost our dear mother, grandmother and friend to all. After a tough battle with dementia, Jo passed peacefully on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at the Linden View Care Centre in Taber on at the age of 93 years.

October 31, 1932 – January 21, 2020

MONA ZUBERSKY of Lethbridge, Alberta, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 87 years.

Mona is survived by her children, Gae (Darryl), Glory (Fred), Chris, Peter (Coreen) and Julie. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Jenniffer, Jill, David (Crystal), Heidi (Bill), Angela (Gordon), Stephanie, Craig, Nathan (Dee Rae) and Zoe (Taylor), and her great-grandchildren: Parker, Preston, Kohl, Hazel, Joshua, Ethan, Avery, Benjamin, Sawyer, Elliot, Alexis, Claire, Liam, and Audrey. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen Burton.

Mona is predeceased by her loving husband, Peter. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Patrick, and Leslie.

She enjoyed family and friends, whether that was playing cards with Pepsi in hand or cutting vegetables for a family dinner.

A Celebration of Mona’s Life will be held at OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH (2405 – 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB), on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Deacon Cliff Bogdan officiating.
