CHIEF MOON

ETHAN MILES CHIEF MOON (Handsome Rider) born May 6, 1998, passed suddenly on May 2, 2020. Predeceased by his mother Corrine Chief Moon, and sister Daffney Weasel Moccasin. Loving brother of Davy, Agatha, Tia, Destiny, Autumn, and Summer. Loving uncle of TJ, Savana, Jordan, Kaiden, Keliegh, Gracy, and Mckayla, and Kyrie, Riser, Dessy, Je’riah. Loved by adopted father Peter Bullshields and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ethan graduated from Picture Butte High School in 2016 where he regularly read to elementary school children. As one of his mom’s front line soldiers, Ethan was proud of his strength evidenced by his recovery from a broken back. He was optimistic and enthusiastic with a big heart, having lots of affection for his family and friends. Ethan was an ideas man and will be sadly missed by all. A Private Family Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m with a viewing from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Due to COVID -19 Restrictions a limited number of people will be allowed into the service. Interment in the Pioneer Cemetery.

Mr. Kenneth James Klinkhammer of Lethbridge, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the age of 66 years.

Mrs. Olga Pavlenko of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Demitri Pavlenko, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the age of 98 years.

PATRICIA PROVOST

On Sunday, May 3, 2020, Patricia Provost passed away peacefully at the Pincher Creek Health Care Centre at the age of 83 years.

Patricia was loved by many people and took part in all of her families, travelling many miles for visits. One of her greatest passions in life was travelling to new places.

Left to mourn her loss are her four children: Adrian (Mary Joe Russell), Cynthia, Stephanie, and Bonnie (Issac Murrillo); her 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and her grandfurry babies: Miley and Texie.

Due to current restrictions re: gatherings, only 15 participants able to attend any of the following events. The family welcomes cards, phone calls or emails to the funeral homes extending condolences.

Wake Service to be held at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, Pincher Creek, on May 8, 2020, at 1:00 pm. On Saturday, May 9, a funeral service will take place at 11:00 am at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel with Fr. Roy Jayamaha, Celebrant, followed by the interment at the Brocket Cemetery, where only immediate family are permitted at the graveside. Guests are welcome but must remain in their vehicles.

TAKAHASHI

Shizuko Dell Takahashi, beloved wife of the late Takyo Takahashi, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the age of 103 years.

She is survived by her son Randall and Son-in-law Yoshi Taguchi and numerous nieces and nephews. Dell was also predeceased by her daughter Aiko Taguchi and her sisters Kimi, Ayako and Kay.

She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and friend.

A private family service was held on May 6, 2020 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home, with Rev. Y. Izumi officiating. Interment to follow at a later date.

1942 – 2020
 Clarence Earl Weatherhead, beloved husband of Marilyn Weatherhead, passed away in Burdett on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
  As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19, and the government’s recommendations, a private visitation was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Monday, May 4, 2020. A private burial service was held at the Burdett Cemetery on Monday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. A service in celebration of Earl’s life will be held at a later date.
