CSASZAR
FRANK CSASZAR passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the age of 86 years young.
Frank was married in France in 1956 to Helen Ilona and traveled to Canada that year. After a few months traveling throughout Canada, he and Helen decided on his forever home in southern Alberta. They raised two daughters, Kathleen and Susan, here while Frank worked at various locations throughout the City of Lethbridge, making lasting friendships along the way.
Frank was a straight shooter, meant what he said, and an amazing storyteller! He loved teaching people, sharing food, mastering everything he put his hands on. His love of fishing and BBQing was loved by all he shared with especially when there was a story about the one that got away. He put his golden touch on everything he made from wrought iron tables, gates, to woodworking, to fixing cars. He was everything to a lot of people including those outside his family.
The love of his life, Helen, passed away ten years ago. He is survived by his daughters Susan Csaszar and Kathleen (Darrell) Coughlin; grandson Jacob and great-grandson Ayden, grandson Michael (Shauna) and great- grandson Logan and great- grandson Lucas.
He fought till the end and we would like to have a special thank you to Dr. Dewalt, Dr. Roth, and the palliative care team, Denise with the home care team for the extra support provided for Frank during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or albertacancer.ca in memory of Frank and Helen
