After a very long journey through life, it is with gratitude that we accept the passing of MARY CARTWRIGHT (née Seleski) on Saturday, May 22, 2021, just three months shy of her 99th birthday. She was surrounded by love with her devoted daughter Carolin, and special friend, Kathy Herbst by her side.
A private Prayer Service will be held on Friday, May 28th, 2021 at Cornerstone Funeral Home and a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 29th, 2021.

JOZSA
ALEXANDER JOZSA Jr., beloved husband of the late Jolayne Jozsa, of Wrentham, passed away at Fairmont Extendicare on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
He leaves to mourn his loving family: daughter Cindy (Wayne) Lazarick, their son Christopher (Christina); and their daughter, Kelsey (Bret) Tasker and two great-grandchildren.
Alex was educated in Wrentham and attended Olds Agriculture College and Auctioneer School in Billings, Montana. He married Jolayne Molnar, and resided and farmed in the Wrentham area. Alex was a mixed farmer who loved to watch his growing crops. His love of animals led him to raise registered heifer cattle and he knew each cow by name. He always had a dog that walked beside him on the farm. He will deeply miss his dog, “Angel”.
Alex and Jolayne were married for 64 years and loved to visit their “Sweetheart Tree “ by Cameron Falls in Waterton. Each anniversary, he bought Jolayne a dozen red roses and a romantic card. Alexander will be fondly remembered as a man with a “big heart”.
Alex’s greatest attributes was to serve his community. He served as a county councillor for the County of Warner from Oct. 1980 to Oct. 1989, as well as on the Wrentham School Board. He loved working with young people by becoming a 4-H, Cubs and Scouts leader. Alex volunteered many hours on the Wrentham water project. “His pipe dream”.
Alex loved to spend time with his family, especially Sunday dinners. He looked forward to visit with family and lately, weekly Facetime chats. He was a member of the Wrentham Community Church, Wrentham Curling Club, Lions Club, and the Auctioneers Association of Alberta.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a private family services. Alex will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife in Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alexander’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society of Lethbridge (#40, 1202 – 2 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 0E3).

LAURA GRACE MILLS passed away on May 18, 2021 in Calgary, AB at the age of 30 years.
Laura is survived by her only daughter, Grace Linda Mills and her special friend, Jewels Dalaney of 10 years. She is also going to be missed by her mother, Shirley Plaited Hair. She was predeceased by her father, Jessie Mills.
A Viewing will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday, May 31 from 9:00 – 11:00 am with a Family Service to follow at 11:00 am. Sept. 4, 1934 – May 20, 2021
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear father, husband, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend, EDGAR CECIL TAYLOR, aged 86 yrs. of Lethbridge, AB.
Edgar is survived by his children: Kathy (Gordon) Mackie of Edmonton, AB, son Robert Taylor of Lethbridge, AB, Laurie (Stephen) Driscoll of Lethbridge, AB and Shelley Taylor of Lethbridge. Edgar has three grandchildren: Alexandria Mackie, Carter Mackie (Edmonton) and Jordan Driscoll (Lethbridge). He is also survived by sister Marcia (Woody) Worden of Apple River, NS and brother Paul (Helen) Elderkin of Halifax, NS.
Edgar was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Myrna B Taylor (Lethbridge AB), his Father Cecil Taylor (Advocate, NS) and Mother Hilda Elderkin also of Advocate, NS.
Our father grew up on the shores of Advocate Harbor in Apple River, NS. He joined the RCAF in 1952 and soon met and married our dear mother, Myrna. The family traveled across Canada, stationed in CFB Rockcliffe- Ottawa, ON and CFB Cold Lake, AB, before retiring from RCAF in 1980 and residing in Lethbridge, AB. Ed continued to work after retirement for many years at Alpha Dairy. Edgar enjoyed golfing, gardening and visiting his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion where he loved to play pool.
Edgar will be dearly missed by family friends, Stan & Pat McGowan of Evansburg, AB. Stan and Ed served many years together in the RCAF and remained close friends.
The Taylor family would also like to thank Tammy Demers for your continued friendship with our father, visiting dad every two weeks to cut that hair! He loved your visits, thank you for being so devoted. Another huge thank you to the awesome staff at St. Michael’s Health Centre – 2nd West for the wonderful care you gave our Dad.
A private ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, where Dad will be laid to rest in the Field of Honor, Mountain View Cemetery.
