DEWSBERY
It is with great sadness that the family of Francis (Frank) Kendrick Dewsbery announces his passing on December 20, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Ruth Wiley.
Frank was born in Raymond on March 25, 1935 to Frank and Edith Dewsbery. All of his school was in Picture Butte. He married Ruth in 1958 in the Cardston Alberta Temple and enjoyed 63 years of marriage. They were blessed to have 4 beautiful children, Debbie Birch (Terry – deceased), Rick (Trish), Chris (Cindy) and Wesley (Karma) with 14 grandchildren and 25+ great grandchildren.
Frank is predeceased by his parents Frank and Edith Dewsbery, Dorothy and Jack Reeder, sister and husband, Terry Birch, son-in-law and great- grandson Evan Jensen. He leaves behind his sister Melba Bergman and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank served a 2 year mission in England and Ireland (British mission) in 1955. Frank did many jobs though out his life, so the family called him “The Jack of all Trades” but master of none. He had a terrific sense of humour and could converse with anyone or anywhere. He especially loved to talk and whistle. He would often talk to a small child and if it was a little girl he would tell her he knew her name was “Twinkle Toes.” He loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. No Flowers by request.
A Private Family Service will be held. Interment in the Cardston Cemetery.

Timothy Robert Parsons
1958 – 2021
Timothy Robert Parsons of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Sharon Dersch, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 18, 2021, with his family by his side. He bravely fought his battle with cancer with the same dignity and quiet determination he lived his life, ne’er a complaint.
Tim grew up in Lethbridge and after earning a B.Mgt. from the University of Lethbridge he managed the family businesses until his passing. He was dedicated to his work but also took time to enjoy life to the fullest with a passion for the outdoors and staying physically fit. He was an inspiration to many who worked out with him at the YMCA. He loved golfing, kayaking, playing the piano, and hiking, spending innumerable hours on the trails in Waterton Park with family and friends.
He imparted his love of Waterton to his children and treasured sharing the wonders of the park with them. Although saddened by the devastating fire in Waterton he found joy in watching the rebirth and renewal of the forest with his family. Characteristic of Tim he always saw “the silver lining”. We will forever hold dear so many cherished memories of the time spent there with him hiking the trails, gathering around a fire in the evening, lying on lawn watching the stars into the night…
Tim was an exceptional husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was so very proud of his three daughters. Besides his loving wife Tim will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Christina Hubbard (Danny Saunders), Emily and Cara, his mother Nell, and sister Lori (Donald) McArthur. He was predeceased by his father Robert (Bob) Parsons, mother-in law Colette Dersch, and nieces Megan MacDonald and Kelli-Lynn Robertson.
The family extends their gratitude to the palliative care team, and nurses on unit 4A at the CRH with a special thank you to Jay and Heather for their exceptional care.
A Celebration of his Life will be held in Waterton at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada, 2 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M4V 1L5.

VAN REE
SUSAN RENEE VAN REE (née NYHOFF), beloved wife of Ken Van Ree, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18th, 2021, at the age of 58.
Susan is survived by her loving family, her husband Ken, her children Kalie and Braeden (Ingrid), her granddaughter, Octavia, as well as her mom, Sharron Nyhoff, her three brothers, Darren (Cindy) Nyhoff, Doug (Karen) Nyhoff and their children Taylor (Brigid), Mason, and Kennedy, and Kevin (Mairi) Nyhoff and their children Olivia and Asher, along with her in-laws Dick and Koshie van Ree, and Diana Fay and her children Travis (Jen) and Ryan. Susan was predeceased by her dad, George Nyhoff.
Susan loved many of the simple things in life, and especially enjoyed making memories with her family and friends. Travelling, camping, golfing, playing games, and knitting were some of her greatest joys. Susan felt blessed to have had many great people in her life with whom to share experiences, adventures and memory making moments.
Susan was passionate about teaching and making a difference in a child’s life by helping them discover the joy of learning and reading. Even though she no longer taught children, she continued to provide advice, guidance, and teachable moments to those she loved.
Once diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, Susan learned to find joy in the life she was living, even if it was not the journey and adventures she had planned. She faced many challenges with strength, courage, determination, and positivity. A special thanks to all those who provided support, comfort, care, wisdom, hugs, and laughs along the way.
Susan always looked forward to catching sunsets at the end of the day. She enjoyed the peace and calm provided by a sunset and believed them to be proof that endings can be beautiful too.
At Susan’s request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider honouring Susan by doing an act of kindness to make a difference in someone else’s day.
