WORRALL, Kevin WORRALL 1960-2022 KEVIN ROBERT WORRALL, beloved husband of Rhonda Worrall, passed away unexpectedly in the Lethbridge Hospital on Friday November 18, 2022 after a lengthy stay.
Kevin was born March 10, 1960 in Ottawa, ON and was raised and schooled in Golden, BC where he met many lifelong friends and his love for hunting and fishing began. Kevin obtained his Heavy Duty Mechanic trade ticket in 1980 at the Northern Lights College in Dawson Creek, BC and went on to work throughout Alberta, with an eventual transfer to Lethbridge in 1986. That transfer resulted in Kevin meeting Rhonda, getting married and enjoying 33 wonderful years together.
In 1995 Kevin completed an Occupational Safety Training program from LCC, a new career path that he passionately devoted the rest of his life to, and he obtained his Canadian Registered Safety Professionals designation in 1999. Kevin and Rhonda owned Southern Safety Consulting from 1997 through 2014 providing 100’s of businesses with OHS consulting, COR safety programs and Auditor services and training 1000’s of individuals a year in certification courses like first aid, confined spaces and H2S Alive. After selling Southern Safety in 2014, Southern PRO-Tech was formed to continue OHS consulting and COR safety audit services. The good friendships and relationships developed with our business clientele kept fueling Kevin’s passion and we have always been grateful for the many years of support from the community.
Besides his loving wife Rhonda, Kevin is survived by his brother and sister-in-law James Peter and Karen Worrall; his sister and brother-in-law Tina and Darren Chambers; his Mother-in-law Jean Eyre; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Reg and Marilyn Eyre, Miles and Christine Eyre; his nephews and nieces Andrew Worrall, Shane (Christina) Eyre and their daughter Chloe, Cianna (Scott) Boyd and their son Jaxton, Jazlynn Eyre and Linsey Eyre.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents James Wm. and Cassie Worrall, his Father-in-law Ronald Eyre; his Gramma-in-law Mildred L. Jensen; and his paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Kevin was an extremely sensitive, caring man and outwardly appeared quiet and reserved in nature but within his heart he held a special and tender spot for each of his family members and he cherished his many friendships.
No funeral service will be held and cremation is entrusted to Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, if you desire, consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada in Kevin’s memory.
