BURBANK, Lani BURBANK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved LANI BURBANK, who died peacefully on Friday December 9th, 2022 surrounded by family.
Lani lived for her family and her career of nursing. She had an angelic voice, and her love of music brought her to serve as choir director and chorister. She served in many capacities for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; a life truly spent in service for others.
She will be forever missed by her husband, Darren and her children Nikole, Matt, Stef and Dusty. Before everything else, Lani was Nana. Her grandchildren Champ, Phoenix, Soren, Navy and Iris will always hold a piece of Nana in their hearts.
Lani believed in seeing the beauty in everything. She would beam at the blooming day lilies in her garden and call loved ones close by to tell them to look at the glorious sunset colours. Lani will be remembered for her laugh, strength, and courage. It is with hope that whenever something beautiful passes by, those who knew and loved Lani will hold her in their thoughts.
A Memorial Service will be held this Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 11 o’clock am at the LDS Church in Fort Macleod, with a luncheon to follow. All who loved her are welcome.
Lani had requested for all medical professionals past, present, and future to please wear scrubs in honor of her nursing career, which she so cherished.
