ANDERSON REX HURD ANDERSON, beloved husband of Joanne Salmon Anderson, passed away in Cardston, Alberta on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Barnwell, Alberta on Friday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m.
Friends and relatives may meet the family from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Barnwell Cemetery.

KOCSIS, Sonya
Sonya Rosalynn Kocsis May 18, 1970 – Jan. 4, 2023 Sonya Rosalynn Kocsis (Ramsay) passed away from cancer on January 4th in Claresholm Hospital with her daughter Ashley by her side. She was predeceased by her brother Ronnie.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents Ron and Connie. Her sisters Belinda, Nadine (Mac), Gayle, and Leisa (Steve). Her partner Don, Children and stepchildren Ashley, Connor, Tyler, Savanna (Brad), and Brenna; as well as grandchildren Emilia and Parker. Also her aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Sonya was a talented gardener and the renowned family green thumb. She loved her community and always gave a helping hand to others. She was a loyal, and caring daughter, a loving partner, and an outstanding mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. We will miss her laugh and beautiful smile. The loss of Sonya has left a hole in the hearts of many, she will be greatly missed.

Survived by his wife Roberta, daughter Paige/Des, sons Tim, Todd/Ting, stepdaughter Terry/Gilbert, stepsons Dave/Monique, Mike/Melissa, Vince/Dasha, 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandsons, sisters Ev/Curt, Elaine, Barb/Yukio as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
BROWNELL, Georgia
GEORGIA BROWNELL 1923 – 2023 Mrs. Georgia Eleanor Brownell of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Mr. Jervis Brownell, passed away at Good Samaritans Park Meadows Village on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 100 years.
Georgia was born in Newington, Ontario on January 8, 1923. She trained to be an R.N. in Cornwall before moving to Carmangay, Alberta in 1947. There she fell in love with Jervis as well as the prairie way of life and never looked back. Georgia and Jervis married on February 10, 1947, and raised 3 children on the family farm. She was a long-time member of the Priscilla Club in Carmangay and the Carmangay Lionettes and enjoyed participating in various community events.
Jervis passed in 1996 and Georgia moved into Rio Vista condos in Lethbridge the following year. There she enjoyed a very busy social life playing cards, visiting, going on bus tours and baking her buns for many friends.
She was a loving wife mother and grandmother – family was very important to her and she loved to visit with friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Georgia is survived by her son Terry in Australia; daughter Linda in Lethbridge; grandchildren Michele, Chris, Chelsea, Caitlin and great grandchildren Flynn and Alista, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family Interment will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge, Alberta.
Cremation has been entrusted to Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

ROSAINE, Terry
TERRY DALE ROSAINE 1945 – 2023 We are saddened to announce the passing of Terry, who at the age of 77, went peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital surrounded by his loved ones on the morning of Friday, January 20, 2023.
Terry is survived by his loving wife Karen (née Elliott), sons Michael (Lorena Garcia-Rosaine), Matthew, and Anthony, as well as his beloved grandsons Carter and Nicolas. Terry is also survived by his brothers Darrell (Paulette, deceased) and Lynn (Brenda), his brother-in-law Roger (Bobby) Elliott, and sister-in-law Wendy (Ken, deceased) Elliott, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Terry was born at the Galt Hospital on Dec. 24, 1945, to Charlie and Betty Rosaine. A lifelong resident of Lethbridge, Terry had a successful career in sales, becoming part owner of Sproule Bearing (later Bearing & Transmission) before retiring in 2000.
Terry and Karen were season ticket holders for the Lethbridge Broncos and then later the Lethbridge Hurricanes since 1975. Terry also loved watching MLB, NFL, NBA, and PGA.
Terry will be remembered for his humour, his kind heart, and his generosity.

MANLEY, Marjorie
MARJORIE MANLEY (STANNARD) May 28, 1928 – Jan. 22, 2023 “I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.” -II Timothy 4:7 Marjorie was mercifully called home (as per her prayer) to be with her saviour at 94 years old.
She will be remembered and dearly missed by three sons Larry (Debra), Bill (Mano), and Tom (Marge) Manley; grandchildren: Samantha Manley, Stephanie (Sheldon) Kropiniski, Heather (Dan) Adams, Lindsey (Arron) Koster and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, brother in law Walter Manley (Ella) and all her friends she had at The View.
She is predeceased by her husband Paul Henry Manley on January 5, 2014, her parents George and Mary-Anne Stannard, her brothers Bill Stannard, George Stannard, sisters Edna Taylor, May Shaw and Ruby Yemen and their spouses.
She was born, raised and married in Lethbridge. She attended the Lethbridge Pentecostal Tabernacle and later the Westside Community Church. She raised 3 boys, worked at Lee Duck Cleaners and Sears. She retired at 65 years old from Sears.
She loved to sing in the church choir and the Old Time Gospel Singers Group. Her and Paul walked every day and were noticed by the Lethbridge Herald and had their picture taken for the paper. She knitted slippers for everyone. She made home made chocolates for Christmas every year. She sewed all her boys clothing when they were young, she was very talented with the sewing machine.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm, on Friday, January 27, 2023, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, with Reverend Bert Faulkner Officiating. A private family Interment will be held prior in the Mountain View Cemetery.
