Elletta LouiseHarnack, passed away unexpectedly in Pincher Creek on Wednesday, February 22,2023 at the age of 55 years.

Elletta was bornin Lethbridge on September 6, 1967, the middle child of Dale and Judy. Herhappiest moments were shared with her family and tending to her flowers, buther greatest joy and the love of her life was her son Zach. Elletta will bemissed dearly by all.

FABBRI, Grace

FABBRI Remembering Grace… GRACE EMMA FABBRI (née Sebok), beloved wife of the late Joseph “Joe” Fabbri, of Lethbridge, AB, passed away peacefully at Legacy Lodge on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 89 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Coralee (Craig) Watson, Brenda (Lynn) Rosaine, Cam (Maria) Fabbri and Brian (Robin) Fabbri; her grandchildren, Micaela (Demetrious) McBride, Ryan (Jolene) Watson, Wanita (Kit) Love, Jovi and Jamie Fabbri, Sayler (Ash) Epp and Paris and Joseph Fabbri; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaden McBride, Carson and Cassy Love, Wyatt and Beau Watson and Henny Epp, She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Coralee (Craig) Watson, Brenda (Lynn) Rosaine, Cam (Maria) Fabbri and Brian (Robin) Fabbri; her grandchildren, Micaela (Demetrious) McBride, Ryan (Jolene) Watson, Wanita (Kit) Love, Jovi and Jamie Fabbri, Sayler (Ash) Epp and Paris and Joseph Fabbri; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Jaden McBride, Carson and Cassy Love, Wyatt and Beau Watson and Henny Epp, as well as sister Ethel Harris and sisters-in-law Marilyn Sebok and Rita Berlando.
Grace was predeceased by her parents, Gus and Mary Sebok, brother George Sebok, brother-in-law Gary Harris, sister-in-law Lillian Parkyn and brother-in-law Robert Parkyn.
Mom was born at her parents’ home, east of Taber, on December 18, 1933. At the age of 12, her family moved to their new homestead, east of Barnwell. She attended elementary and jr. high school in Barnwell, where she played basketball and was a member of the marching band. She then went to W.R. Myers, where she completed her high school.
Mom met Dad at a dance at the Henderson Lake Pavilion in Lethbridge and from there, their adventure began. On June 30, 1953, she married the love of her life and best friend, Joseph Fabbri, and they shared 65 years of marriage together before Dad’s passing in 2018. They started their newly married life in Lethbridge, AB. In 1955, they purchased and moved to their own farm down the Red Trail, where they began their mixed farming/poultry business, which they operated for 45 years. Following their retirement in 2002, they moved to Lethbridge. Mom was a devoted mother and homemaker, and her greatest love was considered to be her family, whom she treasured and adored. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren on birthdays and holidays, while sharing family meals and during celebrations of every kind. Her kindness, support and compassion are a gift that her family will carry forever.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating. The Funeral Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Grace’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
Following the Reception, Grace will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Joseph in Mountain View Cemetery.

ALDEN FLETCHER

Alden Fletcher
1940 – 2023
Alden Fletcher, beloved husband of Millie Fletcher, passed away in Lethbridge on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 – 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 3, 2023 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

Alden is survived by his wife Millie Fletcher; daughters Lynn (Terry) Marcellus of Fort Assiniboine and family, Rhonda Fletcher of Lethbridge and family as well as numerous relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Christopher Fletcher; parents Frank and Louise Fletcher; brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Marence Fletcher.
Alden was born in Lethbridge on April 22, 1940 and raised in Purple Springs on the family farm. This is where Alden and Millie raised their children and farmed until they retired to Lethbridge.
Alden was active in his community. He was involved with the Knox United Church, served as Reeve for the MD of Taber and on the Taber Hospital Board. His one goal was to stay on the hospital board until Taber had it’s new hospital in 1985.
Alden had many hobbies including golfing, curling, fishing and playing cards with friends and family. He loved a cold beer, good conversation and friendship that accompanied these activities. Keeping in touch with family and friends was most important to him. Alden was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

HORON SHEILA ELLEN HORON, cherished only daughter of Mary Maureen Condon Horon and the late Eugene Horon, died peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023. MCNAMARA, Jacqueline (Jackie)

JACQUELINE (JACKIE) MCNAMARA 1945 – 2023 Jacqueline (Jackie) McNamara of Lethbridge AB, beloved wife of Larry McNamara, passed away suddenly on February 24th at the age of 77 years.
She was the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Swartz of Decatur, IL. She received a teaching degree from the College of St. Teresa in Winona, MN. She taught 2 years, 1st grade at Our Lady of Lord’s in Decatur, IL., she also worked in several art galleries in the States and antique shops in Lethbridge.
She loved collecting art and antiques. The walls in her house will confirm this passion. She was very competitive in Sports and won several 1st place tennis awards for 1st in both singles and doubles at Salad Dressing & Margarine Conferences. After arriving in Lethbridge, she took up curling and golf. She enjoyed learning the Canadian sport of curling and explaining it to her friends in the States. In golf she advanced to achieve a Hole in One in 1997 on hole #5 @ the LCC. In her later years she took up pickle ball.
Moving to Lethbridge she did a lot of volunteer work at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery and worked on the committee for our former Sentimental Journey Dinner Dance. She served on the Lethbridge Community Foundation Board for a number of years.
Jackie enjoyed writing. She was the Assistant Managing Editor of Lethbridge Living magazine.
In addition to her love of writing she loved her cats. She was inspired to write a book about her six toed Polydactyl cat, Sadie. Her book is called Sadie Many Toes. She dedicated it to her grandchildren. Her present cat, Jorja, spends her day looking for her Jackie! Her friends know to make her happy bring out the sweets!
The friends she made after moving up from the States made Lethbridge her Comfort Spot!
Besides her loving husband, Jackie is survived by her three daughters Kelley Messmer (Tim), Erin Favazza (Frank), Shawn Coburn. Her grandchildren are Brennan and Connor Messmer, Amanda Favazza and Hudson Coburn. Her brothers, William Swartz in Peoria, IL and Gary (Judy) Swartz in Omaha, NB.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents, Russell & Dorothy Swartz.
Family and friends are invited to meet with the family at 9:00 AM, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at ST. MARTHA’S PARISH, 355 Columbia Blvd W, Lethbridge.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at ST. MARTHA’S PARISH, 355 Columbia Blvd W, Lethbridge.
Friends are invited to join Jackie’s family at Paradise Canyon Golf Course for a social hour remembering Jackie immediately following mass.

The first obit on this page is a disgusting mess of typographical errors. Obviously no one proof read this before publication. Shameful to the family of the departed. If it was proof read the reader should go back to school.
