HILL, Ruth Ruth Hill
1927 – 2023
Ruth Irene Hill, beloved wife of the late Archie Hill, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 95 years. The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden. Ruth is survived by her children Wanda Sutherland of Taber and their family Shelly and Dion; Bev (Emil) Spengler of Purple Springs and her family Deena (Jason), Ryan and Keely (Kris); Reg (Joan) Hill of Calgary and their family Devon (Breanna), Mitchell and Linsey; her late son Danny’s children Brett (Corinne) and Jenna (Stephen). She will also be remembered by her ten great grandchildren and by her sister-in-law Emma Womack and her family. She was predeceased by her husband Archie Hill, her son Danny Langhofer, parents Sydney and Helena Womack and her brother Lorne Womack. Ruth was born in Lethbridge on July 26, 1927. She grew up on the farm at Kipp and attended school at Rollings Hills. Ruth was employed at several jobs over the years but started work in the dietary department at the hospital in 1980 and remained there until her retirement, making life long friendships with all she worked with. After retiring, Ruth gardened in summer, baked in the winter and walked every day, weather permitting. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Ruth’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice. LIVERGOOD, Henry Henry Clayton Livergood May 4, 1926 to April 8, 2023 The family of Henry Clayton Livergood of Prince of Peace Care Centre in Calgary, and formerly of Coaldale and Lethbridge, Alberta; would like to announce his passing on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the age of 96 years. He was predeceased by his wife Necia; and daughter Kathleen Burke; grandson Christopher Burke. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 14th, at 11:00 am at the Archmount Cemetery.

BRAVE ROCK, Ernest BRAVE ROCK Ernest James Brave Rock, passed away on April 1, 2023 in Lethbridge, AB at the age of 35 years.
A Wake Service will be held at the Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Tuesday, April 18 from 7:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the Gladstone Hall on Wednesday, April 19 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Blood Band Cemetery.

TENNANT, Dr. Howard DR. HOWARD TENNANT 1941 – 2023 Dr. Howard Edward Tenant died unexpectedly of natural causes on April 6th, 2023. He was 81 years old. His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his death.

GRIFFITHS, Stephen “Steve” STEPHEN “STEVE” GRIFFITHS 1955 – 2023 Mr. Stephen “Steve” Griffiths of Lethbridge, beloved husband to Mrs. Robin Griffiths, passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the age of 68 years.
Steve was born in Chilliwack, B.C. on January 29, 1955. He loved muscle cars, building model ships, watching Nascar Races and shooting down at the gun range. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs Zoe and Ziggy.
Throughout his life he had many professions but had an affinity for woodworking. This led him to build furniture as well as restore antique furniture for the Oak Market. Steve had a big heart, and volunteered for “George’s Ride”, raising money for the Jack Ady Cancer Centre. In 2014, Steve was in a motorcycle accident, and had to stop working due to his injuries. He spent his remaining years looking after his family.
Besides his beloved wife of 24 years Robin, Steve is survived by his son Adam; parents in law Fred and Mona Leslie; sisters in law Michele (Aaron) Orthner, Renee (Bob) Carrier, and Lisa (Rod) Jetter.
He was predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Lloyd Sr.; brother Lloyd Jr; and sister Janet.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at AMAZING GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 324, 13 STREET NORTH, Lethbridge, Alberta with Pastor Rohan Crown, officiating.

MORYSKI, Pauline MORYSKI, Pauline 1927-2023 Pauline Moryski, passed away peacefully at Garden Vista (Good Sam. Society) in Magrath, AB, on April 10, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Steve in 1997.
Pauline was born in Sandy Lake, Manitoba on May 22, 1927. She had a great love for birds and flowers. In her early years, she married and moved to a farm at Tyvan, Sask. In 1967 she retired with her husband, Steve in Chilliwack, B.C. In the later years of her life, Pauline moved to Lethbridge, AB. and then to Garden Vista in Magrath, AB.
She is survived by her sons, John (Eddie) Moryski, Melvin (Sharon) Moryski, Harold (Rosemarie) Moryski, Dennis (Rita) Moryski; and her daughter, Helen (Garry) Sandhoff. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Wasylnuk; her two sisters, Nettie Newton and Doreen Csati; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A private family Graveside Service will be held, and Pauline will be laid to rest with Steve in Chilliwack Cemeteries, BC.
