QUESNELLE, Haylee QUESNELLE HAYLEE MARIE QUESNELLE, passed away on May 6, 2023 in Lethbridge, AB at the age of 20 years. A Wake Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Thursday, May 18 from 3:00 -11:00 pm and continue on Friday from 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, May 20 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in St. Catherine’s cemetery, Stand Off.

HELGESON, Terry HELGESON Mr. Terry Helgeson of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Syd Helgeson, passed away at the Foothill Medical Center on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the age of 84 years.

DUFFY, Sarai DUFFY Sarai Aviata Duffy, beloved wife to Patrick Michael Duffy, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 5:00 P.M.
She was born Salaimanuva Aviata Siteine on November 30, 1948 to Aviata Siteine and his wife Tauvale Tafua at Solaua, Upolu (island), Western Samoa. She was predeceased by her parents, ten sisters and brothers. She has five surviving sisters. She had over 150 nieces and nephews. She leaves behind twelve children and thirty-three living grandchildren: William, Jared, Aprila & Rick Pearce, JoyAnne & Shane Harvey, Jennifer & Daryl Innes, Melody & Even Johnson, Moana & Shawn Phillips, Corina, Rachel & Travis Rasmussen, Krystle, Duvina & Rylan Coles, Aeisha & Tanner Bergen-Hicks.
Sarai will be deeply missed by all who knew her – “to know her was to love her”. You will always be a part of us, in our hearts and in our prayers. We will miss you and fondly remember you in every moment of our lives. Se’ia Tatou Feiloa’i Lau Pele.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Lethbridge, Alberta Stake Centre, 2410 28 St S.

GEIGER, Barbara BARBARA HENRIETTE GEIGER 1959 – 2023 Mrs. Barbara Henriette Geiger of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Mr. Gerald Geiger, passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on May 10, 2023, at the age of 64 years.
Barb was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 14, 1959, a wonderful Valentines Day Gift to family and friends. She attended NAIT in Edmonton and received her CGA Diploma on March 01, 2005. On July 01, 2015, Barb received her CPA Diploma. Barb was last employed at the University of Lethbridge in the Financial Services Department. Of all her employers, she loved the U of L best.
Barbs true passion was her love for animals, and she adored her dogs and cats. She enjoyed golf and had recently taken up paddle boarding for recreation.
Besides her loving husband Gerald, Barbara is survived by her daughter Amanda; stepdaughters Morgan, Jessie and Allison; stepson Christopher; grandchildren Garret, William, Leo, Scott, and Vic; 4 sisters, Annette, Sylvia, Dagmar and Pamela; and 1 brother: Harald.
She was predeceased by her father, Wolfgang Hoppe and brother Joerg.
Barb had a heart of gold, and she will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.

CYR, Margaret MARGARET CYR 1952 – 2023 Mrs. Margaret Cyr of Lethbridge, beloved mother of Darren and Brad, has passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the age of 71 years.
Margaret Rose Cyr (Klusserits) was born in Medicine Hat, on January 17, 1952. She is one of 5 children from Anne Thorne (Klusserits) and Joe Klusserits / Bob Thorne. Anne’s mother and father immigrated from Czechoslovakia to Canada after the second world war and settled in Medicine Hat, AB.
Marg’s siblings are Richard, Janet, Judy and Ronnie. Marg moved to Fort McLeod where her and Frank Cyr had 2 sons, Darren and Brad. After moving to Lethbridge 42 years ago, Marg spent the rest of her days in Lethbridge where she passed away on May 9, 2023.
Marg was a very fun and loving mother and friend. She enjoyed coffee, smokes, and playing cards.
A Come and Go Reception will be held at 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610, 4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta.
