Christina was born on November 16, 1986, to Sharon Dersch and Doug Huff. She began swimming, skiing, hiking, golf and piano lessons early in her life. She became a beautiful pianist, earned her lifeguard certification at 15 and was a member of the Lethbridge Diving Club. Christina was a kind and compassionate soul who always sought to help others. After earning her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Lethbridge in 2009, Christina worked as an RN at Chinook Regional Hospital providing care, comfort and support. She was passionate about nursing, loved and respected by her colleagues and a favorite among nursing instructors and students for her exceptional mentoring. She strove for excellence in all things she did, always going the extra mile and giving more of herself than she ever asked.
Christina had a brilliant smile that could brighten the gloomiest day and she seldom left home without it. Looking through her pictures it was rare to find any without a beaming expression of her Joie de vivre.
