BAREMAN-HALL, Cora Cora Ann Bareman-Hall March 2, 1956 – November 22, 2023 “Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.’ Matthew 11:28 Cora was born in Taber, AB to the late Jack and Catherine Bareman and spent her life in southern Alberta. She passed away at the age of 67 leaving behind her husband Jerry Hall, daughter Chantal Bareman, stepson Andrew Hall, grandchildren Telaine and Evan, plus “grand dog” Rolo. She is also survived by her siblings John Bareman, Marion Bareman, Ann (Wayne) Veenstra, Debbie (Derk) Daniels, and Jim (Stephanie) Bareman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Cora grew up on the farm; in 1983 she went to Calgary to get a nursing diploma at Alberta Vocational College and then started a family.
Cora always loved being outdoors; she liked animals of all kinds, especially birds. Summer was her favorite time of year, and she enjoyed many camping and fishing trips with Jerry.
Cora made wonderful meals for special occasions and liked trying new recipes. She was an amazing cook who had a kitchen stocked with every gadget a chef could possibly need.
Cora worked for many years as a Health Care Aide on the Long Term Care unit. She worked hard and provided excellent care. She will be remembered for the speed at which she moved through the hallways during a shift. She loved her work and only stopped when her health made it too difficult to continue.
Cora remained a faithful wife and caregiver to Jerry after he sustained a serious brain injury.
Cora was forthright in her manner and took delight in young children, appreciating their authenticity.
Cora will be missed, and her memory cherished by family and friends. Plans for a memorial will be shared when completed.
