OLAFSON, Edna OLAFSON, Edna 1932-2024 Edna Olafson passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024 in Calgary at the age of 91 years. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Laurie (Rob) Hunt; grand-daughter, Cody Olafson; daughter-in-law, Deb Olafson; and brother, Don White.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; sons, Randy and Dean; and brother, Cliff White.
Edna loved to travel and spend time at their home in Whitefish, Montana. In Mom’s memory, please enjoy an Edna “pour”.

BRAUN, Ellsworth BRAUN ELLSWORTH FRANK BRAUN, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Joan Braun, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the age of 91 years.
Ellsworth is survived by his son Nicholas (Susanna) Braun, daughter Laurie Jacklin, son Darby (Susan) Braun and his grandchildren: Jarred (Jenna), Deidre, Kelsey, Ryland, Kristyn (Mike), Mitchell (Meagan), Zachery (Jessica) and Holly (Ratu) and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides his loving wife Joan, Ellsworth is predeceased by his son-in-law Dwayne Jacklin.
Ellsworth was a man of faith and a dedicated husband. He was married to the love of his life, Joan for 65 years. He was a faithful prayer warrior for his family. He loved to watch sports and chat about the results. He could strike up a conversation with anyone he met, he never considered anyone a stranger. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends alike.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. MARTHA’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 355 Columbia Blvd. West, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. with Father William Monis celebrating. A Celebration of Life will follow the Funeral Mass at St. Martha’s Catholic Church.
Ellsworth will be laid to rest next to his wife Joan in Mountain View Cemetery.

ENGWER, Edward ENGWER EDWARD ROGER ENGWER, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 73 years.
Ed is remembered by his sisters: Marilyn (Roy) Elmer, Reta Emes and Connie Engwer, as well as their children: Warren (Tina), Kelli, Shannon (Margie), Terry (Lynelle), Brian (Natalie), Nick (Alexa) and Jennifer (Dwayne). Ed is also remembered by an extended family of great nephews and nieces and his chosen family Petria (Brad) Erick and his grandchildren Dahlia, Isabella and Landon. Ed was fortunate to have lifelong friends in Ward Robinson, Sid Mereski, Roger Jesperson & the late Derek Stimson and many more who meant so much to him.
Ed was predeceased by his parents Ed & Mary Engwer, brother Norm Engwer, nephew Ken Elmer.

SINE, David SINE DAVID LIONEL TERRENCE SINE was born May 27, 1955 and passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on March 17, 2024 at the age of 68.
A Memorial Service for David will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4105 Forestry Avenue, S. Lethbridge at 12:30pm on Monday, March 25th.

HOYTOS, Margaret
HOYTOS MRS. MARGARET MARY HOYTOS, of Milk River, AB, beloved wife of the late Mr. Steve Hoytos, passed away peacefully at the Milk River Health Centre, on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the age of 78 years.
Margaret is survived by her only child, James (Christine) Hoytos of Milk River, AB; grandchildren: Steven (Krystal) Hoytos of Milk River, AB and Kenneth (Emily) Hoytos of Coaldale, AB; and great-grandchildren Kira, Kiana and Evangeline. She is also survived by her brothers Jay (Maureen) Kemble of Milk River, AB and Harold Kemble of Edmonton, AB; sister Betty Poiser of Sedgwick, AB; and brother-in-law Alex Kukucska as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Duane Kemble; sisters: Eileen Kukucska and Phyllis Degenstein; and parents, Esther Kemble and Victor B. Kemble.
Margaret was born in Pincher Creek, AB, to Victor B and Esther Kemble, on September 21, 1945. When she was seven years old, the Kemble family moved to Warner, AB, and when she was eleven, they moved to Milk River, AB. She married Steve Hoytos on October 19, 1963. In July 1964, their first and only child was born, a son, James Hoytos. They resided on their family farm until they retired, when they sold the farm and moved to the town of Milk River in 2007.
Mom loved her flowers, gardening and working alongside her husband with the farming and making wooden lawn ornaments. She loved all her family very much.
We would like to thank the palliative care staff in Milk River, and Dr. Roth from Lethbridge, for taking the greatest care of our mom, Margaret.
At Margaret’s request, no funeral service will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home.
