PLAITED HAIR, Eric PLAITED HAIR Eric Dennis Plaited Hair passed away on May 16, 2024 in Stand Off, Alberta at the age of 67 years.
A Family service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Thursday May 23 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. A Wake service will be held at Old Agency Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will also be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, May 25 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the One Spot Cemetery, Blood Reserve.

HUNT, Annabelle “Anne” ANNABELLE HUNT 1959 – 2024 Annabelle (Anne) Hunt of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Thomas Chief Calf, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 64 years.
Anne was born in Magrath Alberta on August 23, 1959, to Bernice Hunt and the late Alex Hunt Jr. Anne and her siblings were raised on the family farm in the Whoop-up district on the Blood Reserve.
Anne is survived by her loving husband Thomas Chief Calf; three sons Waylon James (Chantelle), Jeremy Lance, and Joshua Thomas; mother Bernice Hunt; aunt Phyllis (Fred) Bull Calf; siblings Andrew, Cheryl, Ada (Pete), Clarence, Edward, Arlene, and Sandra (Stoney); nieces, Andrea (Jamison), Savanah; nephews, Adam, Andrew Jr, Aaron, Jason, David (Nikki), Matthew, Luke, Chad, and Samuel; great nieces, Lakeisha, Hayley, Sierra, Arianna, Grace and Aurora; and great nephews, Malachi, Brody, Roman, Johnny, Jude, and Sullivan.
She was predeceased by her son Matthew Thomas Chief Calf; Ida Joyce Hunt; father Alex Hunt Jr; aunt Claudia; uncle Keith (Sonny) Red Crow; grandparents Sam Red Crow and George and Emma First Rider. We apologize to anyone we missed.
We would like to thank Dr Malpica, Dr Lachmea, the medical staff at the Emergency Unit, the Nursing staff in 3A, and the Indigenous Hospital Liaisons at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
A Wake Service will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday May, 23, 2024 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 STREET SOUTH, Lethbridge, Alberta. The Wake service will continue at the First Nations Fellowship Christian Church near Cardston. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday May 24, 2024, at the FIRST NATIONS FELLOWSHIP CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
Anne will be laid to rest next to her father on the Hunt Family plot.

MCLEOD, Owen OWEN MCLEOD 1975 – 2024 Mr. Owen McLeod of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Michelle McLeod, passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the age of 49 years.

HAMILTON, Donald “Don” HAMILTON 1938 – 2024 DONALD “DON” GORDON HAMILTON, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Faye Hamilton, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the age of 85 years.
Don is survived by his son, Terry (Toby) Hamilton and their children: Teryn (Talon) Berlando, Taniell (Andrew) Hamilton and Trisha (Rob) Collins; daughter, Joanne (Kendall) Perrett and their children: Jordan (Andrea) Perrett and Raeanne (Chris) Perrett; stepson, Mark (Naomi) Vucurevich and their son Lorenzo; stepson, John Vucurevich; stepdaughter, Jill (Trevor) Wilson and their son Raevis Easton; and great- grandchildren: Brayson and Donny Berlando, Caelan Perrett and Charlotte Collins.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Hamilton; and two brothers, William Hamilton and Robert Hamilton.
Don was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. He worked hard in the building supply industry for numerous years. In 1972, he ventured out on his own, opening his first store in Lethbridge. Don worked along with his son, Terry, and together, they created a successful business.
Don enjoyed many things in life, including travel, fishing, golf, woodworking, and playing poker at the casino. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, and was known for his excellent sense of humour.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at the Chinook Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
A Viewing will be held at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614 – 5 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 12:00 Noon, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating.
Don will be laid to rest in Archmount Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
