SEIBEL, Cary

SEIBEL CARY WAYNE SEIBEL passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital with family by his side in the early morning hours of Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 62 years.
He was an exceptional individual who quickly made friends with anyone who crossed his path. He is previously deceased by his best friend, love of his life, and wife of 29 years, Donna Seibel. He is survived by his adoring daughters Carly (Chris) Goruk and Andrea Seibel (Chris Shaw); and his grandchildren, the lights of his life, Logan and Lindon Goruk. He is also lovingly remembered by his brothers, Duane (Michelle) Seibel and Darren (Marie) Seibel, along with a large extended family including many nieces and nephews.
Cary had an incredibly active social life, meeting regularly throughout Lethbridge to see friends over a latte, or catch up over a good meal. He will be forever remembered by asking intriguing questions to better learn about his new friends, and save that memory away for a later date.
Cary fought long and hard over the past 20 years, and although his body gave up the fight, he never did. He was strong, caring, proud, loving and generous with his family and friends – both old and new.
The family wishes to thank all of the people involved in helping Cary with his battle. He had tremendous doctors, nurses and medical teams in both Calgary and Lethbridge who not only took excellent care of him, but treated Cary for the amazing person he was, and not just another patient.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Cary’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (heartandstroke.ca)
A Celebration of Cary’s Life will be held at the AGRI-FOOD HUB & TRADE CENTRE, 101 Exhibition Way South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 4:00 P.M.
