NEUDORF, HELEN

In Loving Memory of Helen Neudorf Born December 23, 1991 in Magrath, AB, Helen Neudorf (Entz) was raised in Southern Alberta on the New Elm Hutterian Brethren Colony until the age of 9 before relocating to Coalhurst, AB with her family. Her upbringing instilled in her a deep reverence for the Holy Scriptures, strong devotion to family, an enviable work ethic, and love for growing things.
Her parents’ Christian faith became her own in her early teen years when God redeemed her by his grace – washing away her sins.
Being one of 7 siblings, she was loved fiercely. She had 4 brothers who looked out for her, 2 sisters who were her best friends, and parents who cherished her deeply.
Her passion for working out and taking care of her body naturally led her to pursue a degree as a Registered Dietician at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Whether it was working in bariatrics, home care, or in an acute hospital setting, Helen excelled in her work with a natural passion for all things food and diet. She was always a willing, yet humble expert, with whom family and friends could consult.
While completing her degree at the UofA, she met and fell in love with Eldon Neudorf in 2013 and they got married in June 2015. Together they shared many wonderful memories in their 9 years of marriage; growing in their love for each other. They were blessed with 3 precious boys.
Helen had a bright and winsome personality, combining just the right mix of impulsiveness balanced by a mature dependability. Her light-hearted laughter, fierce loyalty to family and friends, and unwavering devotion to her faith made her an excellent wife and mother. She made friends easily and impacted people deeply.
Her Savior, Jesus Christ, became increasingly precious to her over the years as was demonstrated by a waning desire to advance in her career as a Dietician and rather grow in godliness as a wife and mother. She expressed extreme satisfaction and contentment in her highest calling as a homemaker for her husband, Eldon, whom she loved and honored, and a mom to her precious boys, Jett, Augustine, and Cooper, to whom her entire life and energy was devoted. Her boys were surrounded by Bible stories, prayer times, and songs as their parents sought to pass on the legacy of their Christian faith.
In her short 32 years, Helen was a precious gift to all who knew her; a gem so beautiful and rare one feels tremendously privileged to have known and loved. Her home-coming to glory certainly is a gain for her. In the mourning and deep grief of her loved ones, the hope of the resurrection is a steadfast anchor knowing they will see her again one day.
She is survived by her husband Eldon Neudorf, three sons; Jett(3), Augustine(2) and Cooper (5 mo), parents; Levi & Emma Entz, siblings; Mark (Monica), Susannah (Jean-David), Julia, Toby, Joseph (Chelsea) and Jonathan, in-laws; Abe & Lisa Neudorf, sisters-in-law; Marilyn (Eric), Gloria (Chad), Angela (Garth), Darlene (Oliver) and brother-in-law Justin. In addition, she leaves behind her grandparents, aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandfather Elias Entz.
