HATFIELD, Randolph HATFIELD Randolph “Randy” Scott Hatfield, born on September 6, 1945 to Lavina and Elmo Hatfield in Raymond, AB, gave up the good fight on August 30, 2024. An imperfectly, perfect husband to Leslie, an awesome dad to Dana, Ken and Randy and a professional grandpa to Seth, Katie, Benjamin, Kassidy and Korrina.
Randy was born into a loving family with four rambunctious brothers, Jim, Bruce, Phillip, Michael and one sister Sharon who had to put up with them.
Randy liked to drive the bus, the taxi, the semi-truck, the hot rod, the quad, the motorcycle, the race car, the motorhome, the boat, all of which were kept shiny – really shiny and clean – because they’d “run better and go faster”.
Nothing was more important to him than family: grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and those who chose to be family. In his 78 years he never missed a single family gathering on July 1st in Raymond.
We will all love you forever.
