SPOTTED BULL, Julia SPOTTED BULL JULIA THERESA SPOTTED BULL, “Maanaakii” (New Woman), beloved wife of the late Fred Spotted Bull, and mother to Russell (Rayanne) Spotted Bull and Laurie Spotted Bull, passed away on September 11, 2024 in Cardston, AB at the age of 77 years. A Wake Service will be held at the Tanner Center, Cardston, AB on Thursday, September 19 from 6:00 – 11:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston (950 Main St.) on Friday, September 20 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blood Reserve.

MCLEOD, Millicent MCLEOD, Millicent Anne (nee Burnett) June 26, 1954 – September 14, 2024 Anne McLeod (nee Burnett) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the age of 70 years.
Anne was born in Turriff, Scotland, in 1954 and a few years later her family came to Canada, where Lethbridge would become her new home.
Anne will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, as well as an accomplished quilter, and enthusiastic volunteer, tending to the gardens of the Deane House, and Ten Thousand Villages.
Anne is survived by her mother Jean, and her brother Gavin (Alison), both of Lethbridge; her husband Don, sons, Cam (Heather), and Rob; and granddaughters, Madeline, Juliette, and Molly, all of Calgary.

MCCORMICK, Harold McCORMICK It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of HAROLD EUGENE McCORMICK, formerly of Springhill, Nova Scotia, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Harold passed away peacefully, at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the age of 77. Leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Harold is survived by his devoted daughters, Dianna Kelly (Terry) and Holly Bandelow (Kevin), who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was a proud grandfather to Shay Formoe (Jake), great-grandfather to Logan and Jaxson, Scott Hayes and Dustin Hartum, Debbie Roblee (Doug), David McCormick (John), Donna Smith (Richard), Randy McCormick (Judy). His family was his pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Harold was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Leonard McCormick, sister Sandra Reynolds, and brother Greg McCormick
Born with a sweet tooth, Harold had a particular fondness for taking a drive and enjoying his love of ice cream. It was the simple things which brought him joy throughout his life. He was also an avid card player, always ready for a game with family and friends.
Harold served his country with honor in the Canadian military from 1966 to 1980. His dedication and service to his nation were a testament to his character and commitment.
Harold’s warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Harold, Dad, Papa, you will be forever remembered and loved.

FULLER, Michael MICHAEL FULLER 1958 – 2024 Mr. Michael Delos Fuller of Lethbridge, born in Taber, Alberta on November 22, 1958, passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, June 21, 2024, at the age of 65 years.
Michael will be sadly missed by his sisters Bonnie Fuller and Mary Ann Fuller.
He was predeceased by his father Delos Fuller; his mother Phyllis Valgardson; and sister Gail Fuller.
The world has lost a kind and gentle soul.

SONNENBERG, Erna SONNENBERG Erna Sonnenberg, of Coaldale, Alberta, beloved wife of the late Adam Sonnenberg, passed away peacefully with family by her side in Calgary on September 12, 2024 at the wonderful age of 92 years.
Erna was born July 21st, 1932 in Weissenfelde, Landkreis Sichelberg, East Prussia (now Poland). Erna was the fourth child in a family of ten children. As a child, Erna’s siblings were her best friends.
During World War II, Erna was sent to a concentration camp in Poland. While in the camp, she met the Sonnenberg Family and she became a pen pal to the eldest son Adam. On December 21st, 1954, Erna and Adam were married at Christ Trinity Lutheran Church in Lethbridge. Erna and Adam settled in the Coaldale area and eventually built a beautiful home for themselves that Erna lived in until June of this year. Erna enjoyed spending time outside in her large garden and was very involved with the Lutheran Church. When Erna wasn’t busy with her flowers and plants she filled her time with reading, knitting, embroidery, sewing, cooking and baking. Erna loved to listen to German folk and religious songs.
Family was the cornerstone of Erna’s life and she was blessed with 4 children, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to being a devoted daughter, sister and wife, she was an amazing Mom, Oma, Gross Oma, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed.
Erna is survived by her children Natalie (Ken) Zablocki, Erika (Loren) Winnick, Robert (Raeleen) Sonnenberg, and John (Teresa) Sonnenberg and their families: Shauna (Seann) Eldan, Logan & Alyssa; Christopher (Reece) Zablocki; Loren Winnick Jr; Kirk (Meagan) Winnick, Elias & June; John Winnick; Kent (Katie) Winnick; Joe (Heather) Sonnenberg, Jeremiah, Drummond & Tate; Joshua (Jolene) Sonnenberg, Reuben & Caleb; Matthew (Rachel) Sonnenberg, Edith, Greta, Linnea, Leif; Laura Sonnenberg; Adam Sonnenberg; and Miriam Sonnenberg. She is also survived by siblings in Germany; along with numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews both in Germany and Canada.
Erna was predeceased by her husband Adam, five of her siblings, her granddaughter Melissa, several infant great grandchildren and others that she loved dearly.
Many thanks to the wonderful caregivers that helped Erna in Coaldale and Calgary.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Christ Trinity Lutheran Church, 416 12 St S, Lethbridge, AB. Interment to follow at Coaldale Cemetery.
A Viewing will be held from 10:00 to 10:45am prior to the service at the church.

A Prayer Vigil will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Peter Lilienthal officiating. The Prayer Service will be live-streamed and may be viewed through Arnie’s obituary on the Cornerstone website.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. AMBROSE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1513 – 23 Avenue, Coaldale, AB, on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. with Father Ian Gagne celebrating.
Following the Funeral Mass, Arnie will be laid to rest in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
