CROSS CHILD Frederick “Trevor” Cross Child passed away on January 6, 2025 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 53 years.
A wake service will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve, Alberta on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm. A funeral service will also be at Senator Gladstone Hall on Saturday, January 18 starting at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Paul’s cemetery, Blood Reserve.

DAVIS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of BARBARA FERN DAVIS (nee Newman) at Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 85 years.
Barb is survived by her beloved dog Tia; her two children: Jeff (Donna) and Norma-Jean (Jerry); grandchildren: Jamie (Aaron), Dylan (Desiree), and Tori; and great-grandchildren Kayden and Hunter.
She was predeceased by her husband Norman Davis.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Fort Macleod Stake Center, Fort Macleod, Alberta.

DEN BOON Brenda Marie den Boon, beloved wife of Jerry den Boon, went home to her Lord and Savior on January 11, 2025 at the age of 66 years.
Brenda is survived by her very devoted and loving husband Jerry of almost 46 years, her two daughters Dini (John) Briscoe and Sandra den Boon and her three beloved grandchildren Madison, Jaden and Jonathan. She is also survived by her mother Minnie Wurtz, and sisters Diane (Ron) Wiggers and Karen Wurtz, nephew Ryan (Terena) Wiggers, niece Monique Danielle, as well as numerous brothers and sisters in law, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Jake Wurtz.
To know Brenda, was to know love, laughter and encouragement.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 16th, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Monarch Reformed Church, Monarch, Alberta.
The Interment will take take place prior to the service at 10:00 am at the Monarch Cemetery, located half a mile north of the Church on Range Rd 235.
