GILMAR, Derek DEREK GILMAR 1952 – 2025 Mr. Derek Gilmar of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Lana Gilmar, passed away in Calgary at the Foothills Medical Centre, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the age of 72 years.

LOOSE, Linda LOOSE LINDA JEANNE (GARNER) LOOSE, beloved wife of the late Courtney Loose, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, Alberta on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at the age of 76 years.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Glenwood, AB on Saturday, March 8th 11:00 am. Interment to follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

NATTRASS, Mervyn Brent MERVYN BRENT NATTRASS August 20, 1949 – February 20, 2025 Mervyn (Brent) Nattrass, 75, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Mervyn and Laura Nattrass.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; his daughters, Shannon, Daria (Jeremy), and Katelyn (Garret); his stepsons, Sean (Maria) and Brian; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Isabella, Luca, Henry, Benjamin, Michael, Stephen, Marlowe, Maverick, Ella; and his brother, Craig.
A man of science, precision, and detail, he became a petroleum engineer and trusted consultant after earning his Bachelor of Science in Engineering at the University of Calgary.
He greatly enjoyed traveling, barbecue, astronomy, cheering on the Chiefs and Royals, golfing, boating, and visits with his brother, Craig, through Zoom calls.
He was deeply dedicated to his loved ones. Above all, he cherished family; alongside his wife he absolutely loved watching their family grow and move through milestones.
Funeral service was held on Friday, February 28, 2025 in Kansas.

BOOTH, Michael MICHAEL CRESSWELL BOOTH 1956 – 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Booth, who peacefully left us on March 2, 2025, at the age of 68 years.
Michael was born in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia on April 8, 1956. He lived a life full of adventure, and love for nature. An avid fly fisherman, Michael spent many peaceful moments on the water, tying his own flies and embracing the tranquility of his surroundings. His love for the outdoors extended to his appreciation for trees, which he cultivated through his career as an arborist. Michael also enjoyed the simple joys of playing the guitar, skiing, tending to plants, and admiring bees.
Michael dedicated much of his professional life to the Lethbridge Research Station until his well-deserved retirement.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Renae, and his cherished daughter, Ivy. He will also be remembered by his family, including Wendy, Burkley, Dave, and Jamie.
The Tree Reaches down, To hold onto life. Reaches above, For nourishment to grow. Reaches out, To the world. Stands firm through the storm, When nurtured and pruned, it becomes stronger. A symbol of strength, hope, and life. Plant Trees Michael will be forever remembered, forever loved.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Michael’s memory be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Kidney Cancer Research.

HUCHALA, Marlyne HUCHALA It is with deep sadness that the family of MARLYNE HUCHALA, beloved wife of the late Joseph Huchala, announce her passing, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the tender age of 84. She fought a hard battle with Alzheimer’s, but always had a large bright smile that could light up a room.
She will be deeply missed by her children: Allan (Lori) Stenbeck, Donna (David) Denboer, and Peggy (Darren) Fraser; Joe’s daughter, Margie (Shannon) Emes; and her sister, Lona Wood. She will also be fondly remembered by her cherished grandchildren: Crystal (Joel), Nicholas, Michael (Courtney), Mathew (Alex), Danielle, Jordan (Ashton), Hollis, Kaden and Cole; and her sweet great-grandbabies: Lindsey, Finnley, Asher, and Cade.
A Celebration of Marlyne’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 – 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. with Deacon Jim Manzara officiating.
Marlyne will be laid to rest in a private Family Graveside Service in Mountain View Cemetery.
