MILK, Robert “Bob” MILK We are sad to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Milk on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at St. Therese Villa.
Bob lived a long and full life starting in Ottawa, Ontario on October 6, 1933. Bob started working at an early age, first job being a caddy at a golf course. Bob was an air cadet at the age of 15 joining the Royal Canadian Air Force, at the age of 19. While stationed at Greenwood Air Force base he met the love of his life – Elsie. Bob was a very hard worker, sometimes 3 jobs to support his family. He was an avid sports fan, playing almost every sport there was, probably tiddly winks!
Bob was a very kind man, loving and caring to all who knew him.
To his family he was a husband, dad, grampy and gramps. He knew how much he was loved, and we all knew how much we were loved.

ANDERSON, Linda Remembering my guiding light, LINDA ANDERSON My world is a little darker today, because my guiding light, my beautiful wife Linda Anderson, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. Born on September 2, 1945, she was 80 years old, and for 45 of those years, I was blessed to call Linda my wife and my best friend. Together, we created a wonderful life, a partnership built on love, respect, and endless laughter.
To say Linda was the love of my life feels like an understatement. She was the architect of our wonderful journey, the heart of our home, and the compass that guided me. When we found each other, we joined not just our hearts, but our families. Linda had a magical way of turning ‘yours’ and ‘mine’ into simply ‘ours.’ One of our greatest joys was watching our families become one. When we married, we united our children, Rick (Nancy) Baker, Kerry (Rick) Bassett, Jeff (Michelle) Baker, and Jonny (June) Sampson. Linda, with her boundless capacity for love, seamlessly created a single, supportive family from two.
Linda will forever be remembered by all for her humour, her ability to take a joke and shoot back, for her quirky behaviour, (like vacuuming the driveway), for her beautiful gardening, her incredible skills with a needle and thread, and for the deep and lasting friendships she nurtured. Linda worked as a Secretary and a Social Worker for AB Gov, for 33 years and she loved the work, but mostly she loved the people she met during that time.
Linda was the foundation upon which our beautiful life was built. Her strength was quiet but immense, her kindness was a constant, and her laugh was the best sound in the world. I will miss it every day. She was so proud of the family we built and the life we shared. Her legacy is not in things, but in the love she gave so freely, the wisdom she shared so gently, and the beautiful family that will carry her spirit forward. She leaves behind our cherished children and their families, our 4 adored grandchildren and our 3 incredible great-grandchildren, and all of the many friends who felt her warmth.
Please join us to celebrate the incredible woman she was at Raymond Ag Society, Red Barn on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 4:00 pm, for a meet and greet, and supper at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation in Linda’s honour.
Linda, my love, thank you for everything. It was the greatest honour of my life to be your husband. You are in my heart, always. With all my love, Mike.
