GIANNAKOS, Rose ROSE GIANNAKOS Born December 12, 1955, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan – Passed October 13, 2025.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose Giannakos, beloved wife of Alex Giannakos, devoted mother of Stavros Giannakos and Melinda Schatschneider, and cherished sister, aunt, and friend.
Rose and Alex shared 36 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and family. She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and joy in life – from baking and fishing to traveling, especially during family trips to Greece with Alex and Stavros.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Alex, children Stavros and Melinda, sisters Rona, Audrey, and Elorie, their spouses and their families, as well as Alex’s brothers and sisters, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends in Arta, Greece.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.

QUESNELLE, Alan QUESNELLE Alan Todd Quesnelle, passed away on October 8, 2025 in Cardston, Alberta at the age of 49 years.
The Wake service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home on Sunday October 19, 2025 from 1:00-7:00 pm. Cremation will take place then the celebration of life will be held at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Band, Alberta on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm.

MICHAUD, Annamarie MICHAUD ANNAMARIE MICHAUD, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Real Michaud, passed away peacefully at the Legacy Lodge on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the age of 83 years.

OLIVER, Sharon OLIVER SHARON ROSE OLIVER, beloved wife of Brian Oliver and mother to Rhonda and Renae, passed away peacefully after bravely battling cancer on Tuesday, October 14th 2025.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Brian Oliver; daughters, Rhonda Cioffi (Cheech), and Renae Kapala (Dave); and granddaughter Alexis Cioffi; as well as her mother Rose Karpiuk; sisters: Shirley (Larry) Sera, Janice (Dave) Racz; and brothers Rick (Bonnie) Karpiuk, James Karpiuk and Peter Scott.
She was predeceased by her father Alex Karpiuk and sister Arlene Kremenik, who will greet her with open arms.
Sharon was born March 22nd, 1952 to Alexander and Rose Karpiuk. She grew up in New Dayton, Alberta and moved to Lethbridge where she met and married Brian in 1972. Their family grew with the addition of two daughters. She enjoyed spending most of her time gardening, golfing, playing cards, cooking and baking.
Sharon will be remembered by all for her beautiful smile, creativity, and great sense of humor.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, Chinook Regional Hospital, and St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre for their wonderful care and support.
